Babel Fish Translations say that Ευλογία Θεού is the translation for God's Blessing in Greek. Can anyone out there tell me how to pronounce it in English?

Francis S. Collins, the director of the Human Genome Project, as one of their own.

But they don't bother to mention that Collins, in his book, examines both Creationism and ID and rejects them.

Is it deliberately misleading?

Rev 21:3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."

So yet again he will be in the public eye! I was never a Diana fan - but Paul Burrell? He makes me feel sick! She always
said that he was her rock! I wonder what she would make of
him today?

And today my mom wanted me go to church. I don't feel like church serves me any purpose. So I told her I don't believe in God. And she freaked out and said....

"How could you do this? You've been going to church all your life, how could you not believe in God? Do you understand you can't go to heaven if you don't believe?"

And when I try to explain myself they block me out. I told them I refuse to have these ideas planted in my head, and I want to find what I believe in on my own terms. Who knows, I might someday find God, but not right now. I am still thinking and exploring all the possibilities. But they are so intolerable and make everything so difficult.

So I guess what I am asking is...

Why do they think I have to believe in their beliefs?
Is this right for them criticize to me?
What can I do to make them understand?
And why is it when I question them on their own beliefs they get angry?

So Serafim gave me a bit of an inspiration, in response to a horse radish comment I made. It was:

"Never confuse [Wasabe] with the Guacamole."

At that moment a light bulb appeared over my head and I thought to myself, "Guac and Wasabe, what a combination!
Wouldn't that be a great food challenge."

Seeing as how the tofu one didn't really pan out, well at least it wasn't as popular as the vegemite challenge.

Now I don't hope come even close to the genius that is Jack B, Vegemite challenge was an artfully creative idea, but maybe and honorable mention would be nice. So the question is....

What's the two, or three most unlikely single food items that you would never think to mix? And perhaps the best answer can start another food challenge.

Oh to keep it with the theme of R&S do all dogs go to heaven. Thanks Serafim.

Remember to pray when it rains as well as when the sun shines. Prayer and Meditation are very useful tools in growing our faith. Rain and sunshine are both needed for healthy gardens!

Deuteronomy 7:6-7
For you are a people holy to the Lord. The Lord your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession. The Lord did not set his affection on you and choose you because you were more numerous than other peoples, for you were the fewest of all peoples.
I believe that the Lord Jesus may have been born into a minority group. What are your thoughts?

atheists are science freaks, people interested in astrology, maths and physics. Many say atheists look for answers, as if we were scientifically reasearching everything. I am an atheist, sometimes (when i am bored) i look for evidence of my disbelief and sometimes i find it, but it is so complex to explain it (even to myself) that it becomes a feeling more than rationalization. It is not i believe god doesnt exist because... i know god doesnt exist, in the general, it doesnt make sense, it is not based on rationalization. As in feeling the wind, i dont need a degree on meteorology to feel the wind, i dont need to study science and natural phenomena to feel the wind, same with god, i dont need 20 hours study per day to know there is no god, i dont need studying the bible or any other "holy" book to know there is no sapient god (one who wants, loves, feels the same emotions people have)...Am i the only one? are all atheists science freaks? do they need science toback up their disbelief?

I asked about relative morality - and no Christians responded...

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=ArxL4kNUgXKeweew72X6EWzd7BR.;_ylv=3?qid=20071009145645AA0gH6w

So do real absolute morals not exist? Or do they only exist within the realm of Christianity?

Now I have to say, that I don't believe in Hell anyway. Nor do I believe in the bloodthirsty vengeful God so many of you seem to. But as it states in the Bible very clearly that God did all sorts of pretty awful things. Assisted in mass murder, got folk to kill their kiddies. Helped bullies in their genocidal aspirations, flooded the whole world and killed us all, sends nice moral people to forever burn in a lake of fire because they were a bit unsure if he existed... you get my drift?

Well as Satan stood up against all this, is he perhaps the good guy?

I'm going to a Halloween party with my boyfriend. I'm going as a cute & sexy Strawberry Shortcake, heehee ;-D
My boyfriend couldn't find anything in the Halloween store that he likes so far, so he asked me to pick it for him.. Now of course, I'd want to get him something to match my costume.
I know he wouldn't want to wear any mask throughout the night, and would prefer something he can move around in. (So, no mask and no stuffy costume like a 'Banana' please - haha, he already rejected that idea!) Any idea what costume I should get him to go with mine? ;)
This is my costume by the way: http://www.anytimecostumes.com/ecommerce/control/product/~product_id=00778411

Thanks for the help! ;)
