Rev 21:3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."

this shows what God will do for mankind!

how wonderful: He will do away with death , sorrow , pain - mankind will then be in the state that God originally purposed. this is how God wanted it to be before sin interred into the picture.

man couldn't ask for a better gift! just imagine: no more war, no more loss of loved ones in death, no more violence, no sorrow what-so-ever!

I find that scripture to be very comforting. A hope for the future is what we need now. We are living in the last days, critical times hard to deal with. It is very comforting to know that Jehovah God will put an end to all of the badness here on Earth.

Whooo Hoooo! I'm ready....lets go!

So I guess that means I'm 'feeling' excited, relieved, can't
wait to see Him and feel Him wiping away my tears....

but when I really consider this verse in context I tend to
think this moreso relates to the folks comming out of the
Great Tribulation....that end time scenario.....
(in my understanding)
after the catching away of the Body of Believers.....

So imho the Tribulation Saints are the ones flooded with
tears, many are the Jewish people who didn't recognize
Yeshua when He first came here.....
(His name is also Emmanuel meaning God With Us)
just like this verse explains....

Jason, Rev 21:3, 4 are part of my favourite scriptures.

You know, everyday when I wake up I thank Jah for another beautiful day he's provided for us and then I smile because we are another day closer to the fulfilment of Rev 21:3, 4!

Just made me smile again!

This is one of the foremost scriptures, for me in the bible. I live in this scripture, some days, and it is my strength when I am devastated from what I see occurring out there, in this system of things, and feel overwhelmed by the horrible things man does to mankind on a daily basis.
I find hope in this scripture to carry on individually, and to carry on as an aide to anyone else who is "sighing and moaning over the detestable things being done on earth".

Ahhh...it's like a sigh of relief and me exhaling because i am soooo eager and waiting for that...I look forward to that time because life now in the system is just so trying, hard and critical...

As a (so called) "pagan", I would metaphysically interpret this scripture to mean that "God" (or whichever name the individual chooses - d@mn semantics !:) -

- dwells within each human being (not to mention being the Fabric of all Matter) and all one need do is recognize this conception, embrace it, and put it to practical use. First, by loving ,accepting , and being grateful for one's Self - then applying this to our fellow man and the Collective Conciousness -

- that the 'tears in the eyes of all man' will indeed be blessed with peace through the cognizance of Ultimate Unity.

(Dang - I think I just made my own head explode - teehee!:)
