The facts are that the Bible is a hodgepodge of nonsense written by ignorant men who reworked tired mythology that had been around for centuries before. As for our contemporary "God" all the so-called gospels were written between 70 and 400 years after Jesus is said to have lived. There is not a single eyewitness (i.e. contemporaneous) account of anything he is attributed to have said or done during his supposed lifetime. The more spiritual and abstract (Gnostic) gospels were hidden by the Church, and the ones we are left with wildly contradict even each other on the purported divinely-authored (and therefore unquestionable) details they report. Further, the "story" of Jesus itself is hardly original or unique in the annals of folklore. In fact it follows a well worn formula for tall tales of the time. God(s), and any prophets or "worldly" manifestations thereof are intellectually weak inventions of man (people) who find it appealing substitute fantasy for fact and opinion for truth. Man created God because it makes him feel good. And of course, if you're lucky enough to have a toll booth on the divine super highway (a church for example) you can also get very rich.
A critical observer of the universe will see that far from being a perfect assembly so intricate that only God could have created it, the universe is replete with evidence of trial and error, failed experiments and formative, probability-based (i.e. chance) designs. The "intelligent designer", the ultimate engineer, the perfect creature that the one true God must by definition be would have no other option but to do it right the first time. Only imperfect "man" could create (in his image, naturally) and therefore have to excuse, the imperfect "God" that performs so poorly that 95% of everything that ever lived on earth has gone extinct.

Some gods were created in cultures or imagined by man to explain natural phenomenons or to satisfy a need to worship something greater than themselves in order to get blessings or other needful things.
There's only one true God that created everything including man--the Triune God of the Bible....Father, Son and Holy Spirit....three persons in one. The reason being that most Christians believe the Bible to be the inerrant, true Word of God and it specifically states that all things were created by Him as it states in Genesis. There is no real scientific reason to believe that life, here on earth or anywhere else in the universe, could begin on it's own, so there must have been a Creator, which Christians accept is the Triune God of the Bible.
In my opinion, no other religious belief or mythylogical god has have given me a credible reason to believe in them as being the one true creator who possesses all knowledge and power and has inspired men to write His Holy Words for us to come to know Him by.

God has created, is running, and will destroy the Universe. God is the Origin and Destination of the Universe. God was, is, will be everywhere, God was never Created and will never die / be destroyed. God is beyond Life and Death. All religions of world teach human way to get close to God. You give your Best, God will give thy Best. Ask God for help and forgive, God will help and forgive you. Pray; Worship and Thank God for everything. Remember wherever there is Happiness in Life, there will be Sorrow. To get Happiness, you must master Sorrow. For Success in Life; Believe in Self and God, Learn from Past, Concentrate in Present, Plan for Future. Have control on, be the master of, not the slave of your body, senses, and mind. Purpose of this Life is to Gain and Share utmost Knowledge and Experience to differentiate and choose Right, Good, God against Wrong, Bad, Devil. Set your Desire level perfect or OK to be brave, no low to be coward, no high to be cruel. You have rights of Survival, Self Defence, and Freedom.

Why should we believe a book that somebody could have just wrote randomly within his/her beliefs? We should just listen to a book, we should listen to what our mind, heart and spirit has to say.
I am Agnostic (undecided in this belief) and I am proud of it too. There is a possibility that Someone did create God, but then God might be our creator- we might not ever know. As for me, I am spiritual. I have a spirit guide. She guides me through anything. People think I am crazy but she is so vivid, she seems human. I think she was reincarnated, and now she is signed to being someones guide, someones helper.
To tell the truth, I do not know if God has created us. If I had to choose, I would say that he did not create us. I do not believe in what people tell me to believe in, I do not believe in what a book tells me (bible) I believe in what i think.

Evolution of psychology and byproducts which accompany that evolution created gods. So I guess that means man created God. But its not like some man in history just up and decided to make him. Its an obsolete biological tool for survival.

GOD Created Man to know GOD.
Man blew-it.
Now, man Creates "belief systems that are False"---because Way Deep Inside, Man used to Know GOD.
It left a hole in Man to be filled, when man (Adam) messed up.
Only GOD can fit Exaclty into that void left by GOD Departing from man (Adam and the rest of US).
Hope this helps.

Humans created gods. In early groupings, one would always emerge as a leader. When questioned or cornered on issues. they discovered that invoking an invisible entity along with some good timing (like a thunderclap), would add to their prestige.
Later leaders used simple illusory tricks to convince their peoples they had powers derived from higher beings.
That's the short version.

God was always there! He was never created like evil-lution was created by Athiests! The Bible states that in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God!

God created man
man created gods, they create religions, they dictate what is right and wrong, what exists and what does not exist - they are gods alright.
Genesis 3:5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
