I'm not a ministers daughter but I am a Christian that married an Atheist. I sure get slammed by other "Christians" here for mentioning that too.

It's close for me. There's a minister's daughter whom I've known for years that goes around telling everyone she's going to marry me someday. Her parents know I'm atheist and her father thinks I'm a great guy. He's a Church of Christ pastor who never preaches to me, just treats me like a son. He's from a moderate branch of the church. The mother? I thought she was going to kill me when I took Amy to see Marilyn Manson in concert.

So, help me understand..you willingly, come under submission to a man...who doesnt believe in God? Do you have any idea what sort of problems you might have when you encounter trials and he approaches them from a worldly mind vs your spiritual one? Do you think that a man who doesnt love God can every truly love you?

I pray the days ahead are not filled with tears. Its hard enough being a married to a christian man..to marry someone who had no faith in God whatsoever would be like hell on earth for me.

Why?

P.S. I'm baffled as to why you'd marry an atheist. That's why, honey!
