there are hundereds of inconsistancies, contradictions, some blatant, some not so much. Some are within the same book, some are later on, but each is a contradiction of the bible in whole.

777- ah, lovely essay, but false. It is impossible for him to have refered back to the originals. They are held in the Vatican, and only certain sections of the bible are open to viewing at certain times, no person will live long enough to have access to the entire bible durring their lifetime. This was set up this way so that alterations could be made to the bible by the catholic church, and no one can dispute it because there would be no way to verify it to the original. The person who wrote that essay would not be able to have accomplished what he said he did...check every single inconsistancy, to the hebrew and greek if needed...he lies.

Well first you have to make sure you are getting all these scriptures from the same bible. What most people don't realize is that there are several different versions of the bible, such as the Kings James Version, the Message, and the Amplified Bible. Each version is different in what they are saying, hence why there are different sects of Christianity (Catholic, Protestant, Mormons, etc.). Also what some people don't realize is that such books as Genesis and Exodus are found in both the Bible and the Torah (The Hebrew Bible - Judaism) and thus may differ in what they say. What some people also don't realize is that the bible wasn't writing by just one person in one time period, but in fact several different people in different time periods. Think of it like playing a game of telephone, you relay a message to one person and they relay it to another person, and by the time it reaches back to you, you have a completely different message then what you started with. The bible is in fact a collection of different books, hence why it is broken up into different sections (Genesis, Exodus, etc.). It is quite common to come across irregularities or repetitions because you have several different people trying to relay different messages.

Also, I would like to apologize for all these people who speak of having read the bible yet yell at you as if you were a piece of garbage. The bible teaches us to accept others and their beliefs - not to damn and to curse those for thinking differently. We should accept people for who they are, whether they're Christians, Islamic, Jewish, or Atheists. We are here to spread the Light of God with an open hand and not a closed fist - if someone doesn't want to believe what the bible says then that is perfectly alright, we should still love them as our brothers and accept them for standing up in what they believe in.

Point 1 and 2 ---God is able to create light itself without a source so no-one would worship the Sun as a god or greater than God which was very prevalent in the early days of other religions. God knew this would happen and wanted to show He has power over the sun and does not even need it to provide light. In fact, there are scriptures that proclaim that "God is light and in him there is no darkness" What exactly is light? a ray or series of particles or both? God is very capable of creating it either way without a source since he created everything in the universe including powers and principalities and time itself. Read in Gen 1:1---"In the beginning" God is above and has power over the natural laws. No conflict there, just a misunderstanding of God's abilities.
Point 3 and 4---It's a common mistake to take both Gen 1 and Gen 2 as the same creation moments but reading them very carefully can explain the misconception.
Gen 1 is the First, original creation week when God made everything. Gen 2 is a second, smaller creation after he had made man and probably was in the Garden of Eden itself...He created some things again in Gen 2 so that Adam could see with his own eyes that it was God that created things. He did this so that Satan could not come along and deceive Adam by saying that he. Satan, had done it...not God. No conflict there.
Point 5 and 6
God commands Adam and Eve to be fruitful and multiply which is His desire to have His creation filled with people. The OT rites of purification after childbirth were put in place for hygene reasons..not to pronounce childbirth as sinful.
No conflict there.
Point 7 and 8
If you read the Tower of Babel story, it says that God confused their languages so the people could not understand each other as before and they scattered to all parts of the world. Gen 10 speaks of "tongues" and Gen 11 speaks of "languages"...two different words and tongues may mean accent or dialect of a common language depending on the translation.
No conflict there.
You seem to be stuck on finding what's wrong with God's Word rather than what's right. There are many things we don't understand about the Bible just from reading it without fully knowing what conditions were like back then, the discrepancies of certain inaccurate translations or minimizing God's awesome power.
Most, if not all of the supposed contradictions can be expained or understood with a little more investigation into the Scriptures and a grasp of a different world back then.

I will answer only what I know..I am not dodging but you have a lot of verses there..glad you are reading your Bible. It will take me some time to research the others.

Light is not necessarily "sun" ..the laws of physics ...just as dark is not always night.
Purification is not all about sin. It is about being separate. Even pagans do rituals like smudging.

Children do suffer the sins of their parents..doesn't mean that they should.
At the time of Abraham and Sarah the half sister marriage was not considered incest.

Now having said that. I am neither creationist or fundamentalist. The Bible was never meant to me a medical book, or a science book. If you read it as much as you must to come up with all of that, can't you find any beauty in the message?

The reason for some apparent contradictions is that God's revelation to man is progressive over time. For instance during the time covered by the book of Acts, Paul advised against marriage because there was a very real possibility that Jesus would return very soon, preceded by the prophesied great tribulation, during which it would be better not to bring children into the world. When the majority of the Jews rejected Jesus as Messiah, at the end of Acts then Christ's second coming was 'put on hold' for the distant future and you can see that in Paul's later letters, written after the end of Acts, he advises people to marry and get on with their normal lives. If you examine the books written during the acts period you will find many references to the time being short, or the Lord's return being near at hand, but if you look at the seven books written after the end of Acts, Ephesians, Collosians, Phillipians, 1 and 2 Timothy, Titus and Philemon, you will not find one reference to the time being short.

Many of the "passages" you present here, were / have been changed by MAN, NOT GOD, and the "King James Version", the "Catechism", "N.I.V"., "N.I.S" ,etc. are approx. 40% in error IF someone wants to FULLY UNDERSTAND what " THE ORIGINAL TEXT'S SAY / SAID ! No, I am not Jewish, but a Gentile, who studied 4 Years, 30 to 40 hours a week every week, under the tooterage of professors of the Original Texts of the Ancient Hebrew, and Mesapotamia.
I / We did not 'waste' time studying civics, sentence structure of the English language, political history of the world, europe, the americas, or any of the numerous non related time stealers! I will present only one example, at this time : The first 3 words in the first verse of Genises IS NOT " In the begining---"
But is rather "AT A TIME"( 'time', in this instance also transliterates / translates to 'reference', 'starting.' ).
There are on line webb sites available for those who wish 'To study to show your selves approved'.
Approx 90% of the changes occured from about 60 A.D. to 350 A.D. !!! A.D., A.D. HHHMMMMM Ring any bells, about the changing WELL after the death of the JEWISH RABBI ( Who NEVER renounced his religion) Jesus ('Christ' was added by the Greeks, to diferenciate between the different JESUS'S - Jewish Rabbis).

point 1: God created light before he created the sun. There is light in the world that doesn't come from the sun.

point 2: Some birds were created before, and some after the creation of Man.

point 3: childbirth is a representation of the original sin of Eve.

point 4: There was only one language, but several incomprehensible dialects.

point 5: Incest is wrong unless God says otherwise. God can make exceptions to his laws in extreme circumstances.

point 6: The first is a descriptive statement: the cause of human suffering is the sin of the father of all men -- Adam.
The second is God's law - that it is not just to punish a person for his father's actions.

I'd say ask each question seperately. Some of your questions would be good bible study topics. Take the Tower of Babel, that would be a great topic. Questions like

"Did the people speak only one language before the tower of Babel?"

"What was the Tower of Babel and its real purpose? They really didn't think they would reach heaven did they?"

"Why did God confuse the people and have them speak many languages"

"Wouldn't it be better if everyone spoke one language so that the everyone could hear about Jesus?"

"If people did all speak one language, can they really acheive whatever they put their minds to like the bible says"

"What was God's purpose for different languages? Does that just create hate in the world if you can't understand someone"
-------------------------------------------------

You should attend a bible study and ask tough questions. Some of your questions will get answered and some may not.

If you're asking them to prove your unbelief, then you need to humble yourself to God and Lord Jesus Christ, and by the Power of God the Holy Spirit, He will help you understand God's Holy Words.

As God said; John 8:47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God. Php 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
Luk 10:23 And he turned him unto his disciples, and said privately, Blessed are the eyes which see the things that ye see:
Luk 10:24 For I tell you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.

Therefore, you must be Born Again in the Spirit of God, then your unbelief and trying to understand God's Holy Words to what you think will be replace to the truth of what God's Holy Words is telling us! Else, you just wasting your time of disbelieving and disproving God's Holy Words, trying to challenge your Mighty Creator God and Lord Jesus; Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Joh 1:2 The same was in the beginning with God.
Joh 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
Joh 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
Joh 1:5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

Your claims, Dear Muslim, are erroneous and untrue. You can take anything out of text and make it say most anything you want to, but it doesn't make it true. I think you have been copying from an anti-Bible site and not reading the Word of God for yourself. Try reading it outside of these sites. You can buy a Bible at any Wal Mart or book store. You can even borrow one at the library. Take one and read it for yourself and see how wrong these people are.

God Bless.....
