With the advancement of science, information and technology how do you explain those with Ph d's in biology, chemistry and genetics who believe in God?
If it is ridiculous and childish to believe in the "Sky-Daddy" then why do the many intelligent people believe in Him?

Why can't you just answer a question without being so judgemental all the time? I see it time and time again with different questions. If you can't give a constructive answer, why do you have to insist on upsetting the person asking? are the 2 points really that valuable to you?

I've discovered a terrible character trait in myself! If I don't want to do something, no matter how much I know I need to do it, I just don't do it. I can't make myself do it, no matter how hard I try! I've tried talking to myself, coming up with reasons to motivate myself, forcing myself, etc. And in the end, if I don't want to, I just don't.
What's wrong with me?

My teen daughter does volunteer work at a nursing home. This one old fellow asked her to do something very sexually disgusting. She ran from his room. Should she continue her volunteer work there, change homes, tell the staff, or just ignore it as "some crazy old man"?

do you see the women wearing scarfs and middle eastern outfits near your town ?
there is no obvious muslims living near my town but when i visited washington d.c. for a vacation , i saw thousands of muslims ..... what's up with that ? why do they choose to wear clothing that makes them standout instead of wanting to blend in to american mixed society ?

White women do seem to be obsessed with black men. White women I've seen chase black men harder then they do white men. Even some of the things I seen white women do for black men, they wouldn't do for a white man. Black men are so fine that sometimes I don't blame them but I think they should focus the same energy on being with white men, maybe their divorce rate wouldn't be so high.

Tell me where I've gone wrong, because from what I understand:
-God wants us to be one way (good/perfect/loving/etc.)
-God doesn't want us to be another way (bad/sinful/evil)
-God gave us free will to choose
-God knew we were gonna sin, because God knows all
-God doesn't like us to sin (and might punish us for it?)
Now, here's my confusion: Why would God give us free will knowing we were gonna sin even though He dislikes it? Why would God create something, knowing the outcome would be something He doesn't like? Why would God create something He doesn't like or want?
To test us? ... but God already knows everything. Why test us when He knows everything, and the outcome? Why would God need anything if He's all-powerful and all-knowing? And, why send any one of His creations to hell for something He knew they'd eventually become/do. Why judge people for being a way He knew they'd be?
Can anyone make sense of this for mfe, please, please, PLEASE!

In my humble opinion I think its a great opportunity to learn. When we realize that actions carry consequences, we can try and correct them. I think when we prefer to blame we are blocking our spiritual growth ofcourse there are exceptions when irrationality cannot be justified but self reflection should be a must. So in pursuit of an ideal life we gain wisdom but that again depends on spirituality vs materialism? What are your opinions?
