led to this ministry & is successful in this calling?

Who you honestly consider successful? No answers like Ted Haggart please. Because he isn't successful in his call to evangelize yet. Yes to Billy Graham. Is he an evangelist or an apostle being steadfast in the foundational Church of Christ teaching?

Apostle? Prophet? Evangelist? Pastor? Teacher?

Eph4:10+ He who descended is the same also who ascended up far above all heavens that he might fill all things. And he gave some apostles & some prophets & some evangelists & some pastors & teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith & of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ...

CJ, Have you ever listened to Billy Graham yourself? You shouldn't back talk Gods Anointed. So? I expect you will get some Godly discipline soon. You have just read some false accusations against Billy Graham. He has brought countless people to the Throne of Grace & Salvation by being steadfast in preaching the Saving Power of Jesus Christ shed blood. Check out His web site http://www.billygraham.com . Also, check out the new library. I think you have Mother Theresa & Billy Graham mixed up.

franzcarlb... Thanks for that verse. It seems that the ministry of Apostles & Prophets are to start a Church also? So? The 12 Apostles were also Prophets? And they started the Early Churches? Please answer what you think. And today. They are first listed in the ministries so are necessary for new Churches to start on the right foundation, Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God?

Grant..., I meant called? I guess the ? is a typo & the rest of cal-led is on the next line. I guess you could think called or called or led though. I mean 5 different people called to 5 different ministries.

Grant1, Also, I know we all sin after we are born again, but I equate sinners to abiding in sin. Habbitually sin.
It is impossible for those born of God to abide in sin (make it a comfortable habit) because of the Holy Seed within.
So? I don't call myself a sinner anymore, even if I do sin at times. When I sin I confess my sin & He (Jesus) is faithful & just to forgive me my sin & cleanse me from all unrighteousness, 1Jn1:9.

Berean lover, What is a Berean? I love my Lord & Savior & I love God's Anointed. So? You need to realize that your criticle judgments of brothers/sisters in faith are rooted in self-righteousness & not Christ righteousness. You need to read about who you are in Christ. When we are born of God, we are made the righteousness of Christ. What we do or don't do wont change that. When we pray to God, God sees the righteousness of Christ. His redeeming blood does cover us. The baby Christian is just as righteous as the mature Christian in Gods eyes.

Heidi Baker was a failed missionary (pretty much, she had a little bit of success, but was exhausted and discouraged) then when she attended a conference at the Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship she received an apostle calling. What happened is that Evangelist Randy Clark received a word of knowledge to her from God "I'm giving you the nation of Mozambique - do you want it". She received an anointing and spent days in visions on the floor under the chabod presence of God.

After going back to Mozambique and anointing her African mission team, they have done mighty miracles in Jesus name, including many resurrections, shown his love, and been used to create over 5000 new churches (before this call and anointing she had only managed to create 1 or 2 churches in Mozambique).

I also find Todd Bentley very inspiring. He regards his primary call as Evangelist, but he operates in all sorts of supernatural gifts. So there are many miracles at his meetings. He used to be a drug-dealer.

Mmm - down arrows. I hope some of you are not getting so denominationally-aligned that you can't recognise that God works through all genuine christian churches, and that God does new things in each generation.

I think most christians think Billy Graham was a man of integrity and certainly many put faith in Christ through his missions; my mum saw him when he was in UK back in the 1950s and was well impressed.

I am not really sure what your question is because I don't know what "cal" means. Assuming it is a typo and you intended to type "all" I will answer.
You will not find anyone who is all of the above. The very scripture you quoted is evident of this as it says SOME as Apostles, SOME prophets etc. Jesus himself was the only one in creation that could fulfill all the positions and no one will attain his fullness in perfection until he returns and takes all his sheep into God's Kingdom. As things stand now we are still sinners even after we have accepted Christ as our saviour

I like your question.
First off let me define them.
Apostle means sent one. As Paul says he layed the foundation. ! cor.3. They see a plan for church government and see the abilities of those who can lead.
Prophets: They lead in what God is saying in a specific situation, to a specific people ,in a specific time. The church to be on the right foundation needs to be established on Apostles and prophets. Eph. 2:20-22
Evangelists are ones who can attract people by the things they say and do. They are poor leaders of churches, which they often try to do, because they do not see the plan of foundational people to lead with. They are often egotistical lone rangers.
Pastors: They are the care givers ! Pt. 5 who lead people in small group settings. Also poor leaders of churches and as we see today given the wrong name by most denominational structures.
Teachers: They lead by giving out important information. They are the ones who should lead in plurality, Acts 13 and the whole leadership should be a team.
Often one starts in one area and moves into another,or develops other skills.
You can figure out who today is what, by your setting. A good church has all functioning because all are needed to bring maturity according to the passage you are using.

God is good is right. This process is never over and I fail to see how these gifts could be seen in any way as stages. Stages are mentioned nowhere. Christ came here with 1 ministry and that was to show us love. Anything else is the outworking of that love pure and simple. If we complicate this love we lose it.

I believe missionaries fulfil the purposes of the 5-fold ministry. I also believe the "church" composed of people who have truly been born-again by Christ's Spirit also fulfil the 5-fold ministry.

I don't get it......... a successful ministry, huh.

A man who teaches God's Word soundly and lives a holy life and who children are faithful and are doing things to glorify God.

John MacArthur is a blessed man of God. John Piper is too. Al Mohler is blessed too. Steve Lawson is right on too. There are many.

Billy Graham is a heretic. He says you don't have to have heard of Jesus to be saved. If that were biblical, then why preach at all?

Graham also finds common ground with Hinuds, Muslims, Mormons, Catholics, and Wiccans.

He is a false teacher.
