Why can't you just answer a question without being so judgemental all the time? I see it time and time again with different questions. If you can't give a constructive answer, why do you have to insist on upsetting the person asking? are the 2 points really that valuable to you?

Honestly, I really do think the two points are valuable to some people--it's the one way they can get them, because very few wise guy remarks ever get best answer, which is a very good thing, in my opinion, because most don't deserve it.

I think some people just don't realize the true purpose and spirit of Yahoo Answers. They think it's just some sort of game, a way to pass the time. And I suppose it could be viewed as both and there's nothing wrong with that, in and of itself, as long as one also remembers that this is also intended to be a serious Q&A forum where people can attempt to learn from the knowledge that every individual has to contribute. Yes, it's okay if it's fun and it's a great way to pass the time. But when some people start devaluing the integrity with their rudeness and sheer idiocy, it's a very negative thing.

I have had problems with rude people answering my questions just to upset me further. I think most people who ask have those problems. There have been a few times that someone has answered so rudely that I have been sitting here and literally shaking from rage so bad that I can't type. I get over it quickly, especially when I see all the nice things that the majority of people here write.

Sometimes, a sweet answer isn't always the right answer. If someone is completely wrong, they don't deserve to be told they are right. If someone is looking for points, wouldn't they just give the asker the answer they want? That way they would be more likely to get best answer and get a load of points...some people are just looking to make others angry. But, some people want to let them know the truth.

You gotta admit, some people ask questions that beg for a smart a$$ answer. Like "my dog has bloody diarrhea, he won't eat, and he can't stand up. What should I do?" or "I had sex with my boyfriend last week. Am I pregnant?" I want to hunt these people down and punch them in their stupid slack-jawed faces. I don't care about the points.

I know, I just asked about flea control in my new puppy, and some lady went up at down and ALL over me. I just asked about which one was the best and what others were using. I really don`t need to see disgusting pictures of dogs with auto immune problems and whatever else she had to prove. I don`t want fleas in my house, I don`t want hookworms, and I don`t want scabies!! She can keep her opinion on the products to herself. BUT to make a long story short, she was borderline abusive with her opinion!! It`s disgusting the way people treat each other.

Some people have no friends to make them laugh, so they have to do it themselves with their smart *** answers. Thanks now I feel like a loser and a jerk. And yes the 2 points are valuable to me, I never played sports as a child, so every time I answer a question I imagine myself making a layup. TWO POINTS!!!!! WE WIN THE GAME!!!
