why must we be taught it, if it is true? if there is a great being who created everyone and will punish you if you dont believe. why did he create us without any knowledge of his existance...?

doing this only causes more people to suffer. his choice lead us to our consequences?

Quand il vient à mes vacances d'été, je fais à peine n'importe quoi. Mais je suis allé l'année dernière au Porto Rico avec ma famille pendant quatre semaines. La raison pour laquelle nous sommes allés là était parce que c'était le mariage des soeurs de ma maman.

I miss Eyedontnose and her fun adventures.

We're getting into sticky ground here with politics, and I'm thinking about taking a leave of absence.

I read the letters to the editor in my newspaper faithfully, and that's as political as I care to get. It's depressing when someone gives me a thumbs down for saying so.

I'm going away this weekend, and I'm not sure I'll return to seniors when I get back. I'll be spending more time in pets/cats and books and home and garden.

It's been a nice ride.

Why did Allah pick Muhammed and dozens of others to memorize the quran, long before it was ever written? Why didn't he choose a smart, charismatic scribe to spread the Arabic version of the old testament? And why all the others? How do we know, out of all the others who allegedly "received" Allah's message from Gabriel, along with Mohammad, that Mohammed was Not the real prophet but simply the first one to yell, "I'm the prophet! And nobody else is! You better believe that because god told me!"

Its not long now,were into october and the clocks go back this month. Theres only 83days till the big day (though the build ups the best part). So whats everyones top 5 xmas songs, mines below-

I found at a street fair a couple of black handcuff-sized plastic bracelets that would be just perfect for my Wonder Woman costume. The trouble is, I can't get them on! I'm a large woman and my knuckles are just a little too big. I think they might fit around my wrists, though, if I can get them on.

I'm thinking of cutting the bracelets open at the "seams", and then covering any sharp edges with black duct tape. Now, what's the safest way of cutting them open? An Exacto knife? Should I take them somewhere else to get them open? Would a jeweler do it? If so, how much would it cost?

Suggestions welcome!

I'm throwing a party, but I'm growing concerned about the attendees, or the lack of them. I've been kicking around the idea of canning the party idea, and go out to a nice dinner with the definite party goers (a whopping five people). I mentioned this idea to one of the guest of honors good friends (I kind of drafted her as my accomplice and I don't think she is too thrilled about her new "job") and she told me "I'm not in the mood for that. I want to sleep and some R&R this weekend". What in the...so does this mean you don't want to attend the party either? I tend to get bent out of shape rather easily (I can admit it!). Was this comment a little snappy? Does this need smoothing over or should I just leave it and commence to planning solo?

what's the best way to handle a girl who answers her phone on a date? Someone told me that if she uses the phone, take it from her and turn it off and to say you're with me. you can live for 4 hours without talking to your friends. another friend said that if she talks on the phone, don't call her and ask her out again. if she asks why, tell her she seemed more interested in her phone then me. what do you guys recommend? I have a date soon with a girl and I feel this might be a problem. there's no phone call she can't skip, I just don't want her talking 2 her friends when I'm entertaining her. what do I do if she starts talking?

When me and my buddies(usually around 8 of us),go out once a week for dinner,there's this one guy who never wants to just divide one bill,instead of making the waitress write separate tickets.
He says since he's a vegetarian,(who doesn't drink either),and he only gets a salad and a pop,while we all eat steaks,and drink lots of beer,(we really do love beer),that he doesn't think it's fair for him to have to chip in!(Ain't that the craziest thing you've ever heard?)
But,anyway, I just think he's being "CHEAP!"
We've been doing this weekly,for the past two years,and he's just now complaining!!!
How can I make him be a "man" and ante up? ???
