I miss Eyedontnose and her fun adventures.
We're getting into sticky ground here with politics, and I'm thinking about taking a leave of absence.
I read the letters to the editor in my newspaper faithfully, and that's as political as I care to get. It's depressing when someone gives me a thumbs down for saying so.
I'm going away this weekend, and I'm not sure I'll return to seniors when I get back. I'll be spending more time in pets/cats and books and home and garden.
It's been a nice ride.

Ndnquah -- I am having trouble myself remembering when I had a little kitty. Mine are 12, 14 and 16 lbs. BIG girls.

Mountaingal -- After I threw my pity party I started thinking, and suddenly realized that on the particular one I was thinking of, almost every answer had thumbs down. Must have been trolls at work. I apologize for misjudging anyone.

Who's getting political? Me - I don't understand half the things I say anyway - are they political? I didn't know I was that clever!

Yes, those couple days she wasn't here, it was like a friend was gone. I'd feel the same if you leave. I know I've not been here as long as some, but I'm quite fond of everyone.
I'm not really on here for the controversial stuff either, 'real' life has enough of that. I asked a question yesterday and someone was giving the answers thumbs down, it is hard not to get discouraged. Maybe after a break you'll want to come back again. I hope you have a lovely weekend, take care of those pets. I have a dog and 6 cats.

Eyes was here early this am and don't go away, I will miss you. As if I'm anyone. Home and Garden will drive you crazy, been there and have way more 10's from there than here but now it seems to be the same stuff over and over again. Try srs, again. When my answers get a bunch of thumbs down I don't even worry about it I just delete my answer and move on. ;0)

I am still reading and felt compelled to answer a question this morning, been doing my thing in disabled and cats but the troll and her friends followed me over there as well. What are you gonna do? Next thing I suppose they will be attacking Canada? Havent been there for awhile so maybe they already have. Felines you're a good person, if you feel it isnt worth it to be on seniors, you will be missed by everyone here, but its your decision, Ron is working on an alternative for us.
The thumbs down were already here when I read this question btw so dont thank me for them

Felines...why would you want to desert us? Only rats desert a ship in trouble.
It will not ALWAYS be politics on here. And your opinion was already invaluable long before eyedontnose brought her silly little stories (her words, not mine) here! I agree they enlivened the place somewhat, but they didn't MAKE IT what it was....we did that. All together.
Give the site a chance to settle into it's new identity. It shouldn't take long. And don't forget that people are creatures of change. NOTHING ever stays the same, nor should it! Growth is healthy, as you know from both your pets and your garden.
Stay. Please.

Felines, why do you let this get you down? I just logged on (5:54 p.m.) so again, I am clueless. Why do the ones I like keep wanting to leave? Just think about it. Okay? Even if people disagree with me, I give them a thumbs up because it is their opinion. That is what one is asking when a question is given. I get thumbs down and insulted all the time!!! Please come back to the forum when you return.

felines, Don't you dare disappear! I know we can't all be here all of the time, but when we do pop in it's nice to see a familiar face including yours! (hug) Even eyedontnose has to close up the chicken shed sometimes but I'm sure she won't desert us.
I know nothing about politics either, and I don't need to know so I just scroll on past what I don't understand. As for thumbs down, just pretend you don't see them. That's what I do.

Felines, don't worry about thumbs down, it is just probaby a troll moving through. We don't worry about points on here.
I enjoy your Q's and wish you would stay around and. I doubt any of us true regulars would venture to be giving a thumbs down just for the sake of it. We are not that shallow. Please continue to grace us with your presence. But if you still feel you must move on so be it. We will miss you. Eyedontnosw is still here and Eve came back . Even if you do choose to leave, please come back and visit us from time to time.

Politics and religion make people show their worst side. Even I, Wickwire, answered a religion answer here before I remembered I didn't want the people pouring in from the other rooms to torment us. (so I deleted it). We'll always get the trolls but we just don't feed them.
I do hope you reconsider, when the original Seniors crew start to leave, I'll have to go home myself.
