The problem: my sister, has a daughter 20yrs old, that has moved back in from living with a man for 2 years. She has a new job and trying to start a new life, but after being home one month, she has found out she is pregnant.

Question: Could someone give me biblical standards or verses on what the family's obligation toward this problem is?

My sister is upset, but is torn about what to do and her daughter is thinking about going back to this guy even though he abused her verbally and cheated on her openly.
I realize this is a forum. Just wanted some helpful thoughts. (neither my sister or her daughter are christians)

There's so much unhappiness out there, how much are we duty-bound to address? If someone came knocking on your door in the middle of the night asking for food, what would you do? Are there some people to whom we owe everything and others to whom we owe nothing?

they are getting baptized into an organization, your trapped like a rat in a cage, thats how they keep you in,you are saved by grace, spirit ,If the spirit of a man has no existence apart from the body, why does Stephen just before his death in Acts 7:59, pray to Jesus to "receive my spirit"? How could Jesus, who was in heaven, receive Stephen's spirit if a man's spirit ceases to exist when the body dies and if no one could enter heaven until the year 1914? Similarly, if the soul ceases to exist after the death of the body, why does Paul say that he would rather be “absent from the body” so he could go make his “home with the Lord” (2Cor 5:8), and why would he say that he would rather depart from this life so that he could go be with Christ (Phil 1:23)? How could Paul be “with Christ” and make his “home with the Lord” if no one could enter heaven until 1914?

The strangest thing happened today in the beautiful city park in Budapest, Hungary.
My soon to be 60 year old husband and myself took a stroll in the park just to be out in nature and feed the ducks.Something we really enjoy doing. We sat on a park bench to rest a bit. There across from where we were sitting 50 yards away were some tables where seniors were sitting playing chess. All of a sudden a tall young blonde women in a black tube top and black mini skirt pulls her top down and squats down lifting up her skirt while a man with pro. style cameras starts shooting pictures of her. All this is going on in front of everyone in site.People just had their mouths open in surprise. What is the world coming to?

A lot of human history goes back a couple ten-thousand years. When we talk about civilizations that don't go further than 4000 BC, creationists trust those findings. It just seems like 6000 is not really a special number.

Jewish Ruling concerning Islam :

[36] Maimonides, Responsa, 448

The Muslims [Ishmaelim] are not in any way idolators. [Idolatry] has already been removed from their mouths and their hearts, and they unify G-d in the appropriate manner without any admixture [of idolatrous beliefs].

First let me state that I am a straight Christian mother who is looking for change in the Christian community. I have many gay/lesbian friends who I love with all of my heart. It brings me to tears every time I see one of my Christian brothers or sisters using our Lord to spread their own ignorance. I am sickened by Christians who carry signs that say things like God hates fags, and Fags will burn in hell. Who are we to say? Who are we to even judge? What makes me laugh is that even after all we know about the way the human body works and how we develop, people still believe there is a choice in sexuality. The Bible is a wonderful book but we Christians so often forget it was written in a time where we knew little to nothing about our bodies or why certain things happen, back then people thought it was a choice to be gay rather than the way a person is born. We now know one can not choose their sexuality any more than one can choose their skin color, but we as Christians still

Prominent creation scientist Em Adjineri has been examining creation stories, and has discovered a creation story from one of the non-canonical gospels.

According to The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, the FSM created the Universe in seven days. Since the Bible said that God created the universe in seven days, the Gospel of the FSM must be using the FSM as a metaphor for the Abrahamic God.

God (in the form of the FSM) made and hid dinosaur fossils in the ground. Anytime we try to use radiometric dating to determine the age of those fossils, the FSM changes the results with his noodly appendage.

The Gospel of the FSM proves that evolution is false, because it explains exactly how the dinosaur fossils got into the ground, and why it seems like they're so much older than 6,000 years.

People might say that the FSM Gospel is non-canonical, but none of them can use DNA to prove that Jesus is not really the son of the FSM. Therefore, evolution is false!
