I asked a question and was told to go blow myself up what a terrible age we live in what do you think of this?

look up some of the answers that voters gave and I complained and the question cannot be deleted where the answerer told me to blow myself up and how shameful it is to know that I cannot even get it off my question list

People are afraid of other cultures at times. Everyone likes to think that they are better than others but in all reality people are people, they are the same in a lot of ways, and people are different in a lot of ways.

I would not let one answer from someone get to you. It's just the way people are these days. Some people will be your best friend and others will hate your guts.

You get a terrible answers because :
1)Some people did not answer your question seriously
2)Some answerers did not have enough knowledge on your question
3)Some people especially non muslims responded to your question full of hatred caused by satans'temptation
4)Every person has his/her own opinion which can be different with others although we have same brain
5)We all are imperfect creation. We have some shortcomings or weaknesses and abundances or strengths
We should respond it with patience if we received a bad answers and we should thank God if we recived a good answer.

I reported it.

Brother, please! Look for a good muslima to marry online. Of course you can marry a non-Muslim but as you are a revert you can learn a lot from a good Muslima. It takes some time but it should work out. I know you have kids and maybe it might take you a little longer to find somebody but I am sure you could.

I would also suggest moving for the deen. You don't have to leave the country but you can move to another city or state.

One more thing, look at yourself and really evaluate if you would make a good muslim husband. What are the things you need to work on about yourself? Work towards fixing those things, fast some more outside of Ramadan, reflect and with time things will fall into place inshaallah. Maybe you should by a dvd on what makes a good Muslim husband(it's a lecture/workshop) and should help you reflect and grow in your faith.

such pple would never know that for 1400 years muslims and christians lived in harmony together in the islams land
while for the last 20 years certain ideologies in the west had planted hatred
and instead they study islam they just go attacking islam and moslims
these wars which they raged against muslims
see what happened in america they almost eradicated the red indians
20 millions died in ww2
and so many examples

Are only the muslims your brothers and sisters? I agree that it is a terrible age. What was your question? I'd like to take a crack at answering it?

Found it! - Didn't see the bad answer but here's mine just the same: If you were a dog and looked like you were foaming at the mouth, I would lay out some food and water and maybe even set up a little place where you could sleep, but I wouldn't go anywhere near you. Unless of course, you were not foaming at the mouth, in which case I'd take you in.

people confuse the average muslin to the radical muslim, and the western muslim to the tradtional muslim. the problem is the way that they are protrayed in the media. But you have to admit that the countries in the middle east don't have a seperation of religion and government. And the prolem arises when the people in those countryies follow their religion to the T. this is bad b/c when these religions started thousands of years ago they were very bias to women, other religions. The non western muslims are just not living in modern times and the news/media reflects on that.

If you're not a Muslim, I wouldn't be asking provocative questions like this concerning their faith as it could, and obviously has been, taken as some sort of inflammatory commentary on their faith. If you are interested in learning more about their faith then seeking out guidance from this site is probably not the best route to take. Perhaps contacting someone from the nearest mosque in your vicinity might be more appropriate and informative as well.

Until Muslims (or any group) will denounce those that commit horrible crimes in the name of religion, there will continue to be an atmosphere of animosity toward any question that seems "pro-Islam."

How many Christians do you see defending Hitler, or the Spanish Inquisition? How many Taoists do you see defending Japan's invasion of the rest of Southeast Asia?

When you separate yourselves from the terrorists, then we will see you as separate. When you excuse their actions in any way, no matter how small, you will be painted with the same brush as they are.
