When you go out do you ever look around and wonder when that tree was planted and who by, who last changed the bulb in the street light, who last cut that grass or who built and painted that wall??

sometimes when i see people in a car pass me, i wonder why it was in my fate to connect with those people at that time.

No know by the fact that the tree hasn't been pruned, the defunct bulb hasn't yet been replaced, nor the grass cut and the paint is peeling off the wall - that's all been done by the Local Council.

No I just admire the beauty of the tree and am glad if the street light is working. Our estate gardener cuts the grass very often and loudly and there is always maintenance going on and painting being done and lat year the council redesigned and rebuild the little kiddies part of our park.

Yes, I wonder if you are asking that because you feel alone in that respect? I also wonder what the tree, wall etc will look like in a hundred years, and who will tend the grass.

Often. What about who washes the signs by the side of the road? I once saw a pick up with guys with buckets and sponges doing just that. Now I know.

Yes. I thought I was the only one crazy that way. You ever look at a building and imagined the people who erected it brick by brick by brick by brick?

You ever rode in an old broken down truck and wondered how excited the original owners were when it was shiny and new?

You a writer too?
