a co-worker of mine does not do her share of work, when she comes in. she sits around, talks on the phone, and she brings her son to work, even though that's against policy. nothing has been said to her, because the supervisor is friends with her mother, who happens to work on another floor, but I feel, if that were me, or any other employee we would be reported to the manager, which is what I want to do.

I find it strange that some Christians say that Jesus is God, some Say that Jesus is the son of God, and some say that God is one of three Gods. Why the huge difference in the core of this religion? How come these three totally different believes still go under the name of christianity? And how did that happen?

I have asked many questionm and I saw somebody did a bit ago, asking, what do you personaly imaging heaven and Hell to look like, and instead of using their imagination and saying what they think it looks like, we get more Bible verses. come on people, you dont always have to be so stiff, what do you think heaven and Hell look like?

We have all had these valley experiences in our christian lives. Some have been longer than others but they are all ' walked" through by us with our Good Shepherd.
Share of how you have grown through your valley experience. In the end I appreciate that the Shepherd leads us all to one place. The house of the Lord Forever.
Give your testimony and may the words be a source of encouragement to those that are currently walking in this way.

I'm just curious. My manager lives in the same apartment as I. I recently started working for her since last week of July. This is my first job (I'm 17). About three to four weeks ago, apparently, she revealed my application to several of our neighbors. Without getting into the details, basically, a terrible rumor spread about both my mother and myself.

The first day I started working for her she straight out told me, "I DO NOT like liars and you know, I don't associate with people at the apartment because they all gossip" ... and two minutes later she's judging the woman who's wearing a dress she thinks is ugly.

What makes this worse is that my mom talked to her. She wanted to know if she did it. She said, "No, I would never do such a thing" but having asked all the people here, they all say she did in fact show them my personal info.

Now, she keeps telling me, trying to defend herself, "I didn't do it. I would never do that" blahblahblah.

Recently I read a post that a difference between Catholicism and Protestantism (ala Martin Luther) is confession.. In fact Luther encouraged confession to Priests.

When I told my grandmother I wasn't an African American at the dinner table I was nearly slapped she got so mad. But what I consider myself is a Black American. My ancestors may have been from Africa, but I am not, nor has anyone in my family for many many generations. I have some friends who are "straight out of Africa" and they get offended when a Black American calls themselves an African American because they aren't. Then you have to consider all the scholarships and other things out there for "African Americans", do they mean all people with brown skin or all African Americans because there are a lot of white Africans who have come to this country to live. Isn't Charlize Theron an African American? Wouldn't a white African American be just as qualified for these things as black African Americans? I think we need to change the term from African American to Black American, or better yet, just American!

You go to a doctor's office and are aware that someone with the same last name also goes to that doctor. You are aware because when you come in the wrong chart is sometimes pulled which was later solved by putting your date of birth on the chart. Well an appointment was made in the computer and you are called up and are positive it was the other woman who had made the appointment. You also know this other woman that you are postive made the appointment. Would you get really aggrevated and yell at the person who is calling you up and say you are always mistaking me for the other woman with the same name? What would you say to the secretary calling you?

I was just wondering what some fellow Christians think...how far is too far to go in a relationship? I have been with my boyfriend for 3 months now and although it doesn't sound like long, I am completely in love with him. And I know he feels the same way. I made the decision a long time ago to save myself until marriage and I will absolutely keep that promise to myself and God. My boyfriend is not a virgin but completely supports and respects my decision. He never pressures me to do anything and always makes sure I am comfortable. But my question is...how far can you go without being inappropriate? Is it ok to make out and touch? Again, I can't stress this enough, we are not having sex of any kind. And also, if it matters, I am 23 and he is 29. Thank you in advance for your answers.
