Dear Brother.. Hello:)
Trust that all is well with you and yours...

I do believer brother that its our diet. What we feed ourselves with. We are what we eat. What we partake of is what becomes our inner constitution. As believers its so crucial for us to eat right. To partake of the Lord as the Bread of life and as the Living water each day. In doing so He is able to truly flavour us according to Himself.

The opposite is true. If we are not those enjoying the riches in the word by way of feeding and drinking and instead enjoy other things then these very things are what draws our heart away from the Lord. Then your list of struggles are the result of that lack of proper diet.

May we be like Daniel and his three companions who refused the King's choicest meats but choose to not defile ourselves. This is and has always been satan's first tactic and attack on us. Affect what we partake of. He did it with adam and eve.. He did it with Daniel.. He did it with the Lord Jesus right after He fasted for 40 days and nights.. " turn this stone to bread"

May we bring this matter before the Lord and not only go to the word to gain head knowledge but do so being poor in spirit and pure in heart. So open and available for the Lord to fill us wiht all that He is. The more we eat of Him the More we become Like Him. The more He is the greater One in us who is greater than he who is in the world.

Praise our Lord forever ..He is our everything..

Great question brother Gilbert

One big challenge is relevance. People will not continue becoming Christians if they don't see that there's something good and meaningful within the Christian churches. That means that inter-denominational bickering, smugly condemning people to Hell, showing hatred toward those who are different from us, bashing other religions, mean-spirited proselytizing, and all of the other arrogant, pushy behaviors that have become associated with Christianity need to go. We need to get busy feeding the hungry, befriending the friendless, and tending to the sick, as Christ would have us do, and lay off the heavy-handed tactics that are not only divisive, but will only serve to drive people away.

The same challenge that has faced the Church from day one:

1Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

Sticking to the bible. Speaking His word in truth and love. Not allowing the culture of the day to push us off His word. Standing fast.

I think it's apathy. I think it's cocooning. I think it's the same things facing previous generations of believers. "There is nothing new under the sun."

All of this, but mostly it is getting ppl to know their Bible and to learn to distinguish between lies and truths . Deception is the biggest challenge. It leads to so much of the above. and to all sin. Great question.

wanting to "fit-in" with the world and apathy (both are why the gospel isn't preached by most christians).

you ask.
