Don't you jsut find it strange that atheists would bother to look at something they despise? I find it very odd because they are just wasting their lives on something they don't believe in. Correct me if I'm wrong

My German friend was teasing me today when I told him I thought Jude Law was handsome. He said 'Jude' meant something in German... tell me!

Has the thought occured to anyone else that Jesus might be trying to return to us. However he is killed by our sins everyday. Do you think that when the day comes when every child on earth gets three meals a day Justice and peace. Then we would be worthy of his return.
Does anyones else feel this too.
Take a look at this and tell me this isnt Jesus> Or tell me it is and what your church is doing to change the world.

We have faith in plenty of things we don't understand. Did you understand the mechanics of television before you turned it on? Probably not. You took a step of faith, turned it on, and after it worked, understanding how it worked wasn't that important. We accept that there are unseen television waves right in front of our eyes. We can't see them because they are invisible. For them to manifest, we need a receiver, then we can enjoy the experience of television.

For the statement to be true, I must know that there is no gold in China, or the statement is incorrect. To say "There is no God," and to be correct in the statement, I must be omniscient.

I must know how many hairs are upon every head, every thought of every human heart, every detail of history, every atom within every rock...nothing is hidden from my eyes...I know the intimate details of the secret love-life of the fleas on the back of the black cat of Napoleon's great-grandmother. To make the absolute statement "There is no God." I must have absolute knowledge that there isn't one.

It's come to my attention that plenty of atheists think we're out of tricks up our sleeve, that all our guns have been fired and that we haven't a hope left until "The End" occurs, which is pretty much the only hand we got left to deal.

However, i can't stress enough how little material atheists have to work with as well... instead of blindly following what the bible says is right, you blidnly follow what you believe to be right.

Also, scientific fact is meaningless until you have ALL the facts, everything there is to know about everything, which includes the origin of the universe, however, that is impossible because you need absolute proof through witnesses.

I imagine if God hasn't ended the world in some odd thousands of years that He never will, which, by all means necessary, there would be no reason to believe in a being that doesn't care.

Atheists may currently have the upper hand in this battle, supported with evidence, but in all honesty, we're gonna win the war ;).

Atheists only have one thing in common; the disbelief in god.
There is no dogma to believe in evolution and all that scientific stuff. Unlike Christians..

Now Christians have a whole Bible they have to answer for. They have to somehow prove that creationism happened, that there was a global flood, that a guy lived in a fish, that a prophet was born from a virgin, that the earth is like 6000 years old (YE) and everything else.

I hope you Christians understand this.

So if there's another question regarding evolution, the age of the earth and the big bang theory just direct them to the science section.

Thanks!

I've always been curious to know is it the Christian belief of Jesus Christ that goes against your thinking or the existence of Jesus Christ Himself? When saying Christian belief, I mean Him being the Son of God, His divine birth, His dying and how He arose again, etc. I'd love to hear your thoughts!

if a person loved God and served Him well (and was a humble person who treated people kindly)--- basically a God-loving person, would that person still be sent to hell after life if they committed suicide? even though they obeyed the Lord in every other way?

I'm more spiritual, personally. I come froma Catholic upbringing, but over the years i've developed my own little.......spiritual state, i suppose you could call it. It's like a mix between Catholocism, Zen Buddhism, and Paganism. I'm not into rules really, at least not when it comes to religion. i just can't see a reason to be so firm with religion.

Report: Herod's Temple Quarry Found

In the bible it says that when the temple is re-build and then destroyed again, the saviour will return to earth and defeat anti-christ. Having found the original Quarry from which the temple was built, will the Israelis build it again? Is the bible prophecy going to come true?

What is your religion (or lack thereof)?

What religion did your parents belong to?

What country were you born in and/or brought up in?

Let's see if we can find a pattern in the answers.
