It's come to my attention that plenty of atheists think we're out of tricks up our sleeve, that all our guns have been fired and that we haven't a hope left until "The End" occurs, which is pretty much the only hand we got left to deal.

However, i can't stress enough how little material atheists have to work with as well... instead of blindly following what the bible says is right, you blidnly follow what you believe to be right.

Also, scientific fact is meaningless until you have ALL the facts, everything there is to know about everything, which includes the origin of the universe, however, that is impossible because you need absolute proof through witnesses.

I imagine if God hasn't ended the world in some odd thousands of years that He never will, which, by all means necessary, there would be no reason to believe in a being that doesn't care.

Atheists may currently have the upper hand in this battle, supported with evidence, but in all honesty, we're gonna win the war ;).

FYI if there ever is a time machined invented and it is capable of taking us to the beggining of time then you can garuntee there is no God... but that's not really the case right now is it?

I'd say the fact that christians are reduced to reposting arguments debunked thousands of times is a point in favor of the atheists.

Do you really think facts are meaningless unless you have ALL of them? I just can't express how ridiculous that is. It is actually possible to know things without knowing everything.

And how is making your OWN decisions and living by your OWN beliefs "blindly following" anything? Rational thought clearly isn't your strong suit.

I'm more of an agnostic really, which means I get to pick and choose what I want to believe. I think they'll end up winning in the long run, maybe 500 yrs. or 5,000 yrs. We don't know.

I also like your comments. As a deist/agnostic I look to those who are capable of using the rational mind to uncover intelligences higher than our own. Whether these intelligences can point towards there being a God...it simply DOES NOT MATTER. I believe that the quantum reality is our true state of being. Eg. Buddhists believe in an eternal field where no one ever dies and no one is ever born.

A war? Not sure if that is the term I would use.

I do not think they have the upper-hand nor that I am out of "tricks" as you say. Though I don't plan on using "tricks" to defend my beliefs but rather logic, reason, and love.

i like your comments. there is a special addition of "the watchtower" published by Jehovah's witnesses being offered this month that deals solely with the bible being inspired. great for atheists and even christians. it in no way spreads any paticular religious view. like i said, its a special issue. don't see how you could read it and not give credit to the bible as the inspired word of God. try it out.

Honestly atheists contradict their own logic by coming here

This is the religion and spirituality section of Yahoo! answers

Atheists are neither religious, nor spiritual so therefore their presence here is illogical. It would be like an illiterate person going into the books and authors section and insulting them.

It is not a question of who is winning or losing. The question really boils down to this: who is telling the truth?

Let your conscience be your guide.
