Has the thought occured to anyone else that Jesus might be trying to return to us. However he is killed by our sins everyday. Do you think that when the day comes when every child on earth gets three meals a day Justice and peace. Then we would be worthy of his return.
Does anyones else feel this too.
Take a look at this and tell me this isnt Jesus> Or tell me it is and what your church is doing to change the world.

No, I never thought about it in quite that way, but I do understand why you do. No one can see that or those photographs and not be appalled at the state of today's world. If Jesus is trying to return to us, I don't think our sins against our neighbors would prevent it. If we could ever get to a point in time when there was enough food for every human being on this earth with needed medical care, justice and peace a living, breathing reality...I would say that He had returned, in some form.

I'm a Sufi (Mystical Islam), and many of my friends think I am so silly for fasting 1 month out of the year during Ramadan.
This has allowed me grow into a deep understanding of the actual hunger that humans experience. I have done this for the last 18 years. I am now 63. I saw many starving humans when I served two tours in Vietnam, but did not have an actual grasp on what they were going through, I do now.

In order to grow spiritually one must understand the actual hunger and thirst of other humans. One must experience these things as though they were there own hunger and thirst!

*Oh, and by the way Jesus(PBUH) will return to show us the errors of our ways!

salaams,
Amen and Ameen

The Bible tells us that. Jesus is not dead He is alive and sitting at the right side of the Father. , And it said, that Jesus will come back, and He wants to Know if by His return if any one on earth will have any faith, in Him; those pictures almost made me sick in the stomach, i had to stop and pray and crie, i just, couldn't believe my eyes. that is just plain human cruelty . the church that i go to and a lot' more churches all over the united states sent food water and other supplies to people all around the world that are so badly in need and that are living in p overty All of these things you see here on these pictures and things that are happening i mean real bad things does not comes from Jesus because the God that we served He is a merciful loving caring and Mighty God, He cares too much for His people and we are , His people because we are called by His name;;; Thats why he died and paid the price so sin should be forgiven, and so man should have a right, to the tree of life, and when he return it will be peace on earth and it will be no more pain sorrow hatetred, it will be the end of human suffering, no more crying, no more hunger and Jesus his self woull wipe all the tears away from our faces ;;;; so while we are waiting let us not loose faith and hope and keep on praying one for another. so jesus can find us blame- less on his return,;; Believe in God so you and your family can be save trust in him and do good, fear the lord and acknowledge him has lordand saviour,;;;;;; be bless, Jesus loves you and so do i.

I know that Jesus is going to come back, but I do not believe that he will die when God sends him. God is awesome and has powers far beyond our human capability. I wish that would happen, but remember that each of us has a hand in humanity. Love of others is where we begin, it will take time, but turning the world around one heart at a time is time consuming. Yes the inhumanity hurts me, it breaks my heart.
It breaks my heart very much, and although I give money I would like to do more. What do you suggest that I do? I am not affiliated with churches or organized religion, as they are filled with hypocricy and are not for embracing our humanity. I love
to help others, and I give what I have left to give in time, energy, and financial resources. If there is more I can do then, by all means...please let me know! I would be more than happy to help in different ways.
Blessings and love,
Marina

Even Jesus said that the needy will always be with us. It is good that you can be sensitive to the needs of others, but don't allow yourself to be overwhelmed by their needs. You offer what you can to assist the needy, then you let go and have faith that your offering is going to help. More than just your money is needed and sometimes you won't get immediate validation for the work you do. But that doesn't mean that you haven't made a difference.

Jesus got the sin thing over with. It's done.

He told us what things would be like and how He would return.

He also told people that in the scriptures (He was talking about the Old Testament) , that in them you would find that the people who wrote them were talking about Him. And so you showed that you didn't read them in your statements. But don't worry, I hadn't either until way later in my Christian life.

But the fact remains, you ask because you haven't read them. I would direct you to Zechariah 14 so that you can see what it's going to be like when He comes back. But I warn you, it's kind of graphic.

Jesus Christ came to rule over sin and death. Man's inhumanity to man is, unfortunately, a choice that we have been given to make. Religion and religious structures of all kinds have caused more conflicts and wars in the history of man, and the established churches have continuosly turned their backs on ethnic cleansing, holocausts, starvation, pestilence, and disease. We no longer live in the Middle Ages where the miracles of science were deemed as witchcraft, egven though today still condemn advances in medical science as a threat to spirituality. Christ gave us the guidelines to live by--perfect love, peace, and tranquility. How we handle it is our issue, not His. My Church has currently sent 150 missionaries into the field in India and China to help rebuild communities wrecked by social strifes and ills. These workers have given up their jobs at home to serve others as Christ intended, exclusive of religious bigotry and extremism. Also, they are doing this voluntarily, with no pay, and my church has sent them at no cost to themselves.

It's awful to think that might never happen. Everyone would have to be selfless and compassionate. I don't think that is ever going to be possible.
It isn't about a certain religion trying to change the whole world. It's everyone's own personal responsibility to open up their hearts and minds and see that their is so much pain in the world that they can change and make better.

The atrocities of mankind are quite devastating. These pictures display the fall of man quite well. Jesus took care of the sin issue when he died on the cross and declared, "It is Done"....... God knows the creature he created better than we know ourselves. He will return in glory and reconcile to him the world and his creation, man. Worthy of his return only by his grace and it is his mercy that has brought us to there.

Interesting question. I believe more that our world hasn't self-destructed yet because of the grace of God extending our time because of all the believers praying for our salvation. I rather hope it's not the way you say, or we'll be suffering forever. Let's believe instead of the power of prayer! Satan is surely laughing hysterically over all the misguided souls on our planet!
