So I just cloned myself. Then I made a robot version of me that has artificial intelligence. They both claim to have a soul; they can simulate all the basic emotions. How can I prove I'm the only one with a real soul ?

Even though you are not the majority of Christians, (most are not bible literalists and believe in God AND also that evolution is valid biological/earth scientific study),

I do believe that a public school must facilitate everyone if possible.

So what do you say about a compromise that teaches science in science class i.e. evolution, specialization, ecology etc.

However another class can be formed to teach all about theological arguments and religion and kids can learn about the various creation stories from different faiths around the world etc.

In Europe, which has a better education system than we have in America, kids at High School level have comparative religion and philosophy classes.

What do you say to that? Religious views and arguements will be aired and in the RIGHT setting and appropriate place for it.

Surely there can be better solution right?

It cleary states in the Story of creation after the Golden, Silver and Bronze men were killed off by the Gods, Prometheus stole the secret of fire and gave it to humans.
Yet Science trys to claim it is the result of an Exothermic reaction not a gift from the Gods?
Do our Science classes need to give this more thought?

I'm looking for a social networking site for gay (or even just lesbian) teens, preferably in the uk and where you don't have to pay or be over 18 to join.

I don't want to use it as a dating site, just meeting new people and stuff.

thanks!

Since most people who are against homosexuality are Christians who believe it is a "sin" and often quote verses from the bible, shouldn't they also be just as hateful towards people who have sex outside of marriage? I mean isn't "all sin equal in the eyes of God?" The Bible states that you should not have sex before or outside of marriage so wouldn't that make ALL the people who do so just as much sexual deviants as the gay people? Isn't it unfair to single out the homosexuals even though God sees pre-marital sex as an equal crime against him?

I never quite understand the use of the word 'belief' when people ask the question of evolution vs. creation......Evolution has scientific evidence and creationism does not. Evolution being science has nothing to do with belief, it has to do with acceptance from my perspective as well as others. Thoughts?

"Kentucky, Mississippi and Arkansas...voted overwhelmingly for constitutional amendments to ban gay marriage. But they had three of the highest divorce rates in 2003.

The lowest divorce rates are largely in the blue states: the Northeast and the upper Midwest. And the state with the lowest divorce rate was Massachusetts."

The answer, in my mind has everything to do with economics, education, and marriage age and nothing to do with gay marriage.

But does this not show that America has room multiple family types with differing "family values"? Isn't the freedom for my family to decide it's own values (and your family to decide its own) what liberty is about?

Well I figure the atheists should go first because they have the least amount of time left. The Christians should go next because they will only do this once, and the pagans need to go last because they believe in reincarnation so they'll have multiple experiences at this.

I always hear about how religions starts wars and spur violence. Just out of curiosity, I wonder if any of those who make that claim could tell me how many of the 473 wars and conflicts throughout the world (and that is just since 1800) were due to religion?

I have recently come into bad health and I had said to myself that I was gonna stop eating Chinese food(because of all the additive the put in) but every now and then I yield to temptation. I went to this Chinese restuarant to get their buffet to go and when I went to the counter to pay for it and the women was putting my to go plate in the bag, I think I could have sworn I heard her say, "Dirty fork?". I was dumbfounded but I nodded yes anyway because I did wanna to believe that was what she said.

Do you think it was my imagination? Does anyone on this board speak Chinese and can tell me what she may have said so I won't be paranoid for the rest of my life?
