I took the Eneagram test and was a 9, which is "peace maker." I'm also a ISFJ on the Myers-Briggs. In the same boat as a "9". It's easy on the blood pressure and stress factor.

My family always needed a mediator...above and beyond a peacemaker, and I filled the role. I cannot say I made peace, but I did, and do, mediate the trivial problems that pop up now and then...tiresome role to play, would prefer to be a trouble maker, but all those spots are taken :-)

I am a peacemaker, i would rather talk my way out of a situation than have to fight about it. I am also kind and helpful. I like helping people out with their problems because they should not have to do it on their own.

I try to be. If someone thinks he heard something I correct them saying I don't think he meant it the way you are taking it or if they are hard of hearing I repeat what was said so they think correctly. I help when help is needed. Usually if I can't say something nice I don't say anything.

All of the above. Even if there are issues not affecting me personally, if I can bridge a gap between others, I do what I can.

To the best of my ability, I try to be. Must admit, however, that on occasion I am guilty of stirring the pot. Gently, of course. Ha ha!
