It is most definitely half full. The preferred end state would be to have an empty bladder and thus no internal pressure. If the desired end state was to be full, then we would say we are half empty. It is all a matter of perspective.

My coffee pot needs to be closer to the computer so that I stop looking at questions and get another cup. If I did that, I would say half full but right now because I have to walk down the stairs to get it then half empty (that's my coffee cup and my bladder)
