I see posts about in order to be a christian you have to accept the trinity doctrine. I disagree. Am I nuts?

when they are gone shes a lazy,nasty,bitter and unhelpfull.Plus she then spends all her time on the phone and leaves me to do all the work.No one else ever sees this as its just us 2 in the office once the boss leaves.If i tell the boss she would never believe me as she thinks my coworker is "Ms. wonderful".

But its free.

I see so many people riding on the wrong sides of the road (toward traffic) and not following what we know as the rules.

Maybe if someone taught a class to tell us what the right rules were then maybe everyone would be lots safer. And they'd give you a bike license.... like a drivers license but it states that you been to that class/classes and its safe for you to be on the road.

Would you feel physically sick if your Jewish friend invited you to his/her synagoge? Or if your Muslim friend invited you to his/her place of worship (the name escapes me)? Or if your Pagan and/or Wiccan friend invited you to join in a circle or ritual?

Would your answers still be as hateful as some of the ones in the previous answer? Would you really condone that? Does it matter who asks you as long as the invitation is asked with love?

i started asking you questions because i want to know why you don't believe in God. and excuse me, i am not a Christian... I don't have to be in a specific religious group to believe in God. It's not what you say that gets you into heaven, it's the things you do and the loyalty you have to the Lord. The only reason you don't believe in God is because you all expect Him to be there every time you want something. I think you let Him down more than he lets you down... you just don't see it. so what do you have to say now?!?!

King Solomon had a wives and concubines numbering close to 1,000.

Hmm..I wonder: do the 'non-traditional' marriages in the Bible out number the good, 'traditional' marriages? Where are we to find good traditional marriages in the Bible?

I have reasons that I want to have body parts go numb and fall sleep. I have been just tying cords around the limbs until they fell asleep but is there any other way? Any sugestions?

I agree that there were times when the Catholic Church made some mistakes and maybe not the best judgement.

Luther wanted to change that and not actually start a religion.
If you read about him he was a horrible man, really bad.

So why dont catholics and protestants get along better. If you read the attached link you will see that what both groups agree has more in common than you would think.

It would be better if all christians reunited and focus more on what we have in common than the slight differences.

And please I know some people just answer to get the points but dont write stuff without having some understanding of the REAL TRUTH OF WHAT PEOPLE BELIEVE>

I find it better to get insults and derision from non-believers or atheists than I do to get some of the really ignorant posts of christians.

I have heard pastors say that to several people I knew and once we had a prophet come to our church, at least he claimed to be a prophet, and I noticed that all his prophecies were vague like that. I'm not knocking the gift of prophecy. I believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. I think that God is going to do a great work in every believer. I think that is such a very vague prophecy that no one could ever pinpoint or prove wrong. I think the people who prophecy like that are just trying to prophecy broadly because they don't have a real prophecy from God.

Today I saw one of the counselors from my school. Well over the summer there was another teacher that made a smart eleck remark to me, and the counselor laughed about it stupidly. Well I laughed stupidly too just to be smart. Well I saw her today and she usually says "hey" but when she saw me she just looked me up and down and walked away, and she had a smile on her face, i guess from talking to someone earlier. It kinda faded when she saw me though.

If we do not like it, we change it.
If we cannot change it, we leave it.

Our flags, the cymbols of each of our proud counties are now being banned as disruptive?! This needs to stop!

As a child, a couple of days before the event I was drawn out of bed and I pulled the curtain aside and saw a cartoon image of Father Christmas, reindeers and slay in the night sky it was confusing at the time and I'm not a believer of anything but what I saw was a moving image, I tell you straight.
