What was the concept of the Trojan Horse in myth? How could that be applied to a different idea for a modern-day need or problem? It doesn't necessarily have to be something in a shape of a horse or relate to wars, but has to capture the ingenuity of the idea of the Trojan Horse that helped in winning.

My stepson has always been a problem and he is in jail right now. He has anger issues, drug issues, and is a pathological liar. Yet, when he's not in jail he goes to his church every Sunday and thinks this makes him the best person in the world. He has been in jail at least 3 times now.

My husband and I are ready to wash our hands of him. He has a little girl and we just adore her. We love seeing her, but are abolutely sick of him. He was kicked out of our house about 6 weeks ago for violence. He pushed my husband down on the tile. We even separated for 6 months because he was abusing my daughter and beating her in the face when he was a teenager.

Do you think it is unchristianly for us to not allow him to move back into our house? My husband has a tendency to be mad and then starts feeling bad and sorry for him. Then, he acts like I'm the bad guy because I don't want to give him another chance. It has happened so many times, I've lost count and patience with him.

If someones great grandmother married a man, and had kids, then had an affair with his brother, and had a kid too. they are sisters & cousins right? well then they have children, cousins & 2 cousins. The list goes on, but they are all paired (ex. sister & cousin, cousin & 2nd cousin) is this still inbreeding?

Not necessarily all vegetarians and vegans, but I have come across a lot of them that have always told me that eating meat or animal products is wrong and they list all the "health risks" associated with it. I have no problem with people being vegetarians or vegans, but what I do have a problem with is them telling me that I am wrong for not thinking like them. Why is it that the people that I am talking about have such a hard time realizing that people are entitled to different beliefs?

Ok, I'm not Christian and I really dont understand who the followers of Jehovah's Witness are? I mean, how did they get such a name? What's the significance behind it? Who is "Jehovah" exactly? I dont get it! What are their beliefs?

Why is it that on TV, people make the joke of, when someone knocks on the door, they say, "Oh, it must be Jehovah's Witness!" Huhhhh?! :o\

I've heard that they dont celebrate ANY holidays or birthdays and that they dont believe in any "symbols".

Can someone explain all of this to me and tell me anything they know about Jehovah's Witness?

if they was a man who made all this that would take great power.

because i see people dieing of hungry i see man killing man for no reason i see lots a hurting things we do to each other
i see the weather killing people.

why if god is so great he can build the world but then stand by and watch us destry it all?

when something good happens that is gods work and when something bad happens that is thedevil at work i just do not belive this i am sorry.

i would like to think that they is more to life then just this.

i have studyed things in the bible and the truth is i can not see how they could of happend or they are so impossible to happen.
