Realize you're just being a wise guy, but...

I once heard an amusing story from a friend about his great-grandfather, a farmer who used to carry around a small pocket version of the Bible. Each day on his lunch break the man would read a page, then tear it out and smoke it (with tobacco, of course).

Now this fellow was a good, serious-minded Christian. To him, he was simply "internalizing" or absorbing the holy word in yet another way.

There's definitely a kind of sympathetic magick at work in that approach, however. It's a concept easily grasped by most modern pagans. :)

Of all things that are toxicants, this one beats the bushes, it can't be the words, or translation there-in, but the print itself that would be an intake hazard! There are pitfalls and landmines to be avoided, and by merely smoking a joint, will not save your displeasure!

Yeah my aunt sent me a bible when I was 11 yaers old Im just about 1/2 way through it . Its not a real page turner But has it's purpose and that's the only one I ever found and the only useful thing that my mother taught me

i DID know this. although i could never bring myself to willingly rip out a page of the bible.
