my friend is having a bah mitsvah tomarrow and i dont know what to get her. i was thinking something simple like an itunes gift card or something. if you have any ideas please tell me.thanks

First, that would be Bat Mitzvah or Bas Mitzvah, depending on whether you are Sefardit or Ahkinaz.
The only Bat Mitzvah gift that my daughter cherished was an unabridged dictionary. She used that through the rest of Middle School, High School, and College. It eventually fell apart from use.

A small potted plant with flowers and attach some money to the stems.Put some lollipops in a flower pot and do the same, just some ideas. The gift card does sound nice.
A book by favorite author and put some money between pages.
