Do you know any contemporary Christian songs that are based on verses in the Bible? I'm trying to put together a Bible study with music. Here are a few I have so far:

1. "God So Loved" - Jaci Velasquez (John 3:16)
2. "Live the Life" - Michael W. Smith (Ephesians 4:1-6)
3. "Shine" - Newsboys (Matthew 5:14-16)
4. "Leaving Ninety-Nine" - Audio Adrenaline (Matthew 18:12-14)
5. "Shout to the Lord" - Mark Schultz (Psalm 98:1-8)
6. ???

By "contemporary" I mean songs that play on KLOVE or AIR1, for example. Any help you can give me is great...thanks!

A pornographic magazine?
A copy of "Are you mine?" by Bros on CD?
A machete?
A copy of DOS 1.1 on 3.5" disk?
A dead animal?
The Holy Grail?
Or a book by Dennis Wheatley?

Because of everything that is going on in this world, I just wanted to say that God loves you, and God Bless You!!, I know that I wasted 5 points to say that, but I had to. So God Bless You!!

First off, I have nothing against Niqab although I asked a controversial question earlier. I just want to know what place actually hired you or did your husband just take care of you?

And do you also wear gloves and have your eyes covered? How did you get the job? What was your background that helped you get it if anything?

Okay, okay, it is a multi-question question. Please star, I don't believe there are many niqabis on yahoo answers.

An old lady walks into a Catholic Church, lights a candle in front of a Stature of Our Lady of Grace and prays.
Everyone knows that she is worhiping plaster, wood and stone, right? Everyone knows that she is so stupid as to think that that plaster will save her, right?
Everyone knows none of this is Biblical, right?

WRONG! WRONG! WRONG!
That old lady will get into heaven before you do. You know why? You have judged her already and Jesus told us not to judge. Did you ever think that your judgment could be wrong?
What if that lady lite the candle because Christ is the light, the true light that enlightens men.
What if she is praying before, not to, that statue to Christ mother who is now in heaven praying and helping us in our love relationship with God. The saints are not dead. The phrase"asleep" does not mean gone. God is the God of the living not the dead. If all the saints are dead asleep then how did Moses appear in the Transfiguration

Do the nay sayers need some themselves to dream up their opium fuelled 'rapture ready' adventures? I meaned, some of the stuff they come out with is pretty stoned out: like when they say the Pope is the Antichrist... it's funny that it's always these people that try to deny MS sufferers legitimate treatment

our questions sometimes do make a difference. I pondered this and found a question from a 9 year old a few weeks ago asking if George was in heaven. Most people didn't know it was a 9 year old until the additional details were added by his mother...so, most people took the question as a joke and answered it that way (which hurt the asker's feelings) because it ended up being serious question/topic.

We can make a difference...will you forgive me for coming out of retirement?

Peace, Love, and Blessings

"When Creationists talk about God creating every individual species as a separate act, they always instance hummingbirds, or orchids, sunflowers and beautiful things. But I tend to think instead of a parasitic worm that is boring through the eye of a boy sitting on the bank of a river in West Africa, [a worm] that's going to make him blind. And [I ask them], 'Are you telling me that the God you believe in, who you also say is an all-merciful God, who cares for each one of us individually, are you saying that God created this worm that can live in no other way than in an innocent child's eyeball? Because that doesn't seem to me to coincide with a God who's full of mercy'."

This is a direct quote from the naturalist David Attenborough (http://www.smh.com.au/articles/2003/03/24/1048354544138.html?from=storyrhs)

I'd be interested in the opinions of people who believe in creation theory as to why your god created this creature . . .

You are co-workers.
You avoid talking to him/her bec of his/her bad breath but he still talks to you. Worse, he talks to you for a long time.
How do you tell him that his has bad breath (not just garlic/onion or coffee breath) without offending him?
