monkeys are not still evolving? we see monkeys be born and die, but I have never seen one turn ito a human.

If life on earth was seeded by extraterrestrials, what do you suppose their purpose would have been for doing that?

Propagation of their species wouldn't make sense, since evolution is unpredictable. By depositing single-cell organisms into the oceans of young earth, the odds of their exact species someday evolving into being are astronomical.

a- stop homosexual marriages in any country
b- stop hunger (do you say famine?) in any country

just keep in mind one is considered a sin by your religion and the oher is not a sin, and it may even be god´s plan.

I love how these people think that science should be thrown out and substituted with mythology.
Let's say for the sake of argument that Creationists took over the US.
How would they keep the lights on?
How would they feed people?
How would they keep people from being sick?
Transportation?
Communication?
Industry?

Would they just pray for all of these problems to be solved? And hope that god would do it for them?
Good luck with that!
Maybe we should let them run the country for a weekend just to see how quickly it would take for them to be tarred and feathered.

It seems like if you are a young, white, straight, able-bodied, Christian, upper class, male from the northern states...

Then you would be ok if "PC" went away and we all just used whatever flaming terms we wanted.

But think about all the hurling insults everyone else would have to endur:

The elderly
black people
latin people
asian people
native americans
women
gays
lesbians
handicapped
mentally challenged people
over/under weight
autistic people
southerners
people who don't have kids
people who are not married
Jewish people
Buddhist people
Agnostic people
Muslim people
addicts
alcoholics
people who are not educated
poor people
people with cancer
people with HIV
people with Sickle Cell Anemia
people with Parkinsons

It seems like people attack "PC" because they want to hate these groups.

It seems pretty obvious ,even if you put togheter all the different religions that make up christianity, that Christianity
just like all the rest of the religions in the world are MAN MADE AND WRONG!
If you think that Christianity is the right religion, why do you have so many different denominations?
Who is right catholics? baptists? anglicans? orthodox? Jehova witnesses?, mormons? and the list goes on and on.
If you think only Christians are good in front of God and are the only one to go to heaven, which denomination is supposed to go to heaven and which is going to be tortured in hell?

would you be scared? Seriously, would you? I was stood at the bottom of my stairs(this is a couple of years ago) and i saw someone walk across the landing, left to right. I didn`t see a `person` but i knew it was a man. I wasn`t scared, in fact i wished i could see it again. My son saw the same thing about a year later, going in the same direction. Also tell me if you have seen anything.

why dont they leave their houses and the comfort of a western culture and just go to a third world country to help others in situ, to live what they live and to suffer what they suffer or even better to Africa or the Amazon or a far away somewhere to spread the word of god for those who wont have a chance of knowing about god and christ???

I know it will be just an opinion, since there is no scripture relating to suicide except where Saul's armorer does it and Samson in the pagan temple. I am versed in the bible, being indoctrinated at an early age. I personally don't believe every word of it, but some of it is backed by archaeological proof, so not all of it can be discounted. But much of it is too fantastical for me to believe. I just want to know if someone caught something I didn't. And murder is not suicide, it's defined as the taking of someone else's life. Lot was contemplating it, his wife told him to do so, and god didn't step in to tell him not to. So where does it say????????

My boyfriend is a Jehovahs whitness, and i am christian. He is wanting to get baptized and i think that this will change our relationship dramatically. we were supposed be be getting married next summer but now it is put on hold because of this. Does anyone have any advice or personal experience. Do you think we can make it work? the rules for JW can be very strict..... Also I already have a daughter who is 4 that i had before i met him, so changing the way i live or raise her is out of the question..... HEEELLLPPP. We love each other so much this is so hard!
