Yes, it could be anything, doesn't have to be a human. But I would like to know why?

A male. I believe men suffer less pain than women. menstruation, childbirth, menopause, they don't deal with any of it.

-If you are asking if I would rather be male or female, I would tell you female because I've just spent 15 years (nearly 16) that way. It'd be kind of hard to switch over at this point.
-Then again, when I am reincarnated, I don't know if my soul will remember being female, especially if I am born a male. I think I'll have flashbacks and deja vu from previous lives, but I don't know what I'll hardcore remember.
-In this day and age, females have so many more opportunities than in the past. We almost have all the same advantages as males have. (Which, I guess, wouldn't be advantages anymore if we shared them...)

Well since reincarnation is traditionally Hindu - I would want to become a man because in the Caste system says that a woman is lower than the poorest man and being reincarnated as a man means you did something right in a past life.
As a side note I think the whole reincarnation thing is BS.

I've already got it planned that I'm coming back as a female singer in a heavy metal band. My best friend is reincarnating as my manager.
Not sure why female, except that it's what I'm used.

Just as I am... male. Can't stand the idea of looking in the mirror for two hours (my girls do this) whilst patiently applying all kinds of gunk to look drop-dead gorgeous.
Cannot fall preggie.
Do not suffer from the monthly "curse".
Do not have to wear high heels.
Physical gratification at the drop of a hat is not on.
etc etc.

A woman-I'm sick of going to work in the morning. I want to bat my eyelashes and have the world at my feet, ready to fight my wars and agree I'm always right.
All a woman has to do is look pretty-and they shoot up with silicone, puke their food not to gain weight, and literally take their life in their hands under the knife to maintain that "'Youthful" image.
And what do we men do in response? Whatever they ask, even if it will start a war.
