Do you know any contemporary Christian songs that are based on verses in the Bible? I'm trying to put together a Bible study with music. Here are a few I have so far:

1. "God So Loved" - Jaci Velasquez (John 3:16)
2. "Live the Life" - Michael W. Smith (Ephesians 4:1-6)
3. "Shine" - Newsboys (Matthew 5:14-16)
4. "Leaving Ninety-Nine" - Audio Adrenaline (Matthew 18:12-14)
5. "Shout to the Lord" - Mark Schultz (Psalm 98:1-8)
6. ???

By "contemporary" I mean songs that play on KLOVE or AIR1, for example. Any help you can give me is great...thanks!

At least include some half decent music. How about the Byrds - Turn, Turn, Turn (Ecclesiastes 3).

"I Shot the Sheriff" - Bob Marley (Genesis 1:29)

Of course, this verse says "for food", which is a little different than what Bob was talking about.
