america is going to fall if we don't put Jesus back into our schools, whitehouse, public places, court rooms. Jesus is the only one that can save america. We need to believe and trust in Him. Put Him first. Then we can rise as a nation. God bless america. Jesus loves you

that you are married to Jesus in your heart?
Yes, I am a devout Catholic.

A kid I hardly knew told me this. I saw him for one day, and he said this to me.

Your thoughts? Can kids see spiritual things we can't?

What do you think of this verse... and question?

Dear God of compassion, thank you for sending your angels to help us in times of need. Teach us to offer mercy and kindness to everyone around us.
Amen.

I've been a waitress/bartender for years while I work through college and there is nothing more disappointing after working so hard to please a table and they leave something under 15%. Many people from older professionals to blue collar or college students seem not to be aware that an acceptable tip is between 15-25%. The pay-rate for waitstaff is around $2.15 an hour so we rely on the gratuity of what we sell. I wish I could educate the world on this!

Anyone who professes to be a Christian cannot look upon those days as long periods of time. The Hebrew word for day(yom) is used 2301 times outside of Genesis. Anytime the word yom is modified by a number;such as 1 st day or second day; or the words morning and evening; it's always translated as a 24 hour day. You need to keep the word in it's syntax. I don't think anyone can translate it as "there was evening and morning, the first billion years". The problem with Christians and long periods of time, the evolutionists say we have 200 plus million of years of fossils. Fossils are dead animals. That means there was millions of years of pain, disease, suffering and death before sin. But Genesis, chapter 3 clearly teaches that pain, disease, suffering and death were the result of sin. Therefore, all the death we see in the fossil record came about after Adam sinned. As Christians, we're looking forward to Christ coming back and restoring Paradise. Do any Christians agree with me?

I heard this morning a woman was stabbed in a store and the security camera recorded 5 people who walked around her or over her, one taking a picture with a camera phone before 911 was called and she died before help arrived. Would you be a Good Samaritan a case like this or would you be like the Pharisees & Levis and walk on by? or worse yet take a picture without helping?

Frootbat31 answered a question of Kallan where FB mentioned Belief.net's "Beleif-O-Matic" which, with 20 questions, can provide you with a lengthy list of faiths and your compatibility score with each.

Would be cool if all the regulars took the test and posted the results. An interesting and rather objective way of determining affinities etc.

Some already have:

'Twould be helpful if this question were starred frequently so as to get it noticed on as many networks as possible.

Hope you'll participate and I hope you get a kick out of it.

All welcome!

Why do other atheists try to destroy religions or prove others wrong. I'm atheists by the way. I mean I think its fine when others say that you will go to hell, ( its actually quite funny ) but when people go to extremes like vandalize church property, isn't it just stupid.

As atheists, shouldn't we be tolerant of everybody, no matter what there thoughts are compared to ours. Since when did we try to convert others??? That makes us... uhh hippocrites..

What do you think?

I've always been curious what others think about this, if you are on a date with someone and you are picking up the check and notice that the waitress/waiter overcharged you on something would you call it to their attention to be corrected in front of your date? Does this make you look cheap on the date? Or, if you were the date how do you think you would respond, verbally or mentally? Thank you for your time.

In my first question I asked why suicide is an unforgivable sin and murder isn't. I've been told quite a few different stories. Some people say that suicide is unforgivable because once your dead you can't ask for forgivness. However, I thought that once you died you had the chance to confess your sins to God and be forgiven to give you a chance to go to Heaven. And regardless, it makes no sense that murder is forgivable at all.
Other people told me that blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is the only unforgivable sin. That makes no sense to me at all. If I say "F*ck you Jesus" he sees that as completly unforgivable but I could go out into my livingroom right now and stab my brother and he would forgive me? Well Jesus sounds pretty God d@mn selfish. The whole thing is ridiculous and nobody had the same story so that just proves my theory even more that you guys just make it up as you go along. How can any Christian be so blind to not see how much that religion contradicts itself??
