Yes, I am a devout Catholic.
A kid I hardly knew told me this. I saw him for one day, and he said this to me.
Your thoughts? Can kids see spiritual things we can't?

It means that this child is under the conviction of God, listen to him.

Children have a pure heart and therefore can have spiritual sensitivity to spiritual things. They are very honest at this age. Most children have a strong sense of discernment of evil and good. This child sensed that your heart was devoted to Jesus. The child felt truth and goodness coming from you and that is a wonderful feeling when someone you do not know or someone that comes out of the blue to tell you something as wonderful as this child did. I am sure the child done just what the child was lead to do.

Kids have the power to see the paranormal(spirits) when they are little.The older you get you lose the power. I feel like I can sense a presence in the room sometimes. It get's a little chilly when it happens. Sometimes you can't see the ghosts. But the presence is undeniable.My mom told me that her friend once visited her room. The bag on the doorknob moved she said. So, kids can see spiritual things.

Yes, they can. Children have more of a broadband connection to the world of spirit because we as adults haven't taught them to turn it off yet.
The 'married to Jesus' comment is probably his way of explaining what he saw in words that he knows. He probably understands marriage as love and commitment so that's the word he used.
I'm just pleased that at 5 this child can still express things like that.

Don't know what the kid was thinking.
But Catholic nuns have long been known as brides of Christ. In some orders, they get wedding rings when they make their final vows. Or used to.

Children often can see more than we can because they have yet to be fully indoctrinated into the mundane world. It is very possible this child saw your aura and knew what that meant...

yes, but not all of kids are like that. kids who tell you this kind of stuff like personal stuff when you havent even met them, some people call them indigo, crystal children, these kind of kids are psychic and they are very open to things that other normal people dont know including spirits and all kinds of metaphisical stuff, i personally believe they can talk to spirits, angels and even predict the future.

I'm sure it was just something he saw on tv, or heard in church. Kids have weird and select ways of remembering things, and more often than not they just say what comes to mind naturally.
I wouldn't get too caught up on it.

Supposedly, Nuns go through some ritual as being married to Christ. Maybe he thought you were a nun?

I believe it means just that. As children we see things different than adults. I think that as children we are touched by God and have more wisdom than adults give us credit for. My children and nephew are always surprising me with their wisdom of God and the world!
