...It doesn't appear that President Franklin Delano Roosevelt believed in the "separation of church and state." He prayed publicly and asked the American people for continued prayer during the Normandy Invasion and for the rest of World War II. He sought the Lord's grace, strength and help for our soldiers, as well as those who served at home. He prayed for victory, that our freedoms and civilization might be preserved, and that we be spared from tyrants.
...I haven't heard of anyone's feelings were irreparably damaged by having to listen to President Roosevelt humble himself and pray....
...Any thoughts or comments?

1 Peter 3:21
"The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:"

Does he REALLY mean that baptism has anything to do with salvation? Does he really mean something else here.
Can this be explained in the context of the letter from which it is written. I know other scriptures saay what they say; and they are to be taken in the context from which THEY are written. But what does THIS mean; ONLY citing the text in THIS letter.

My boyfriend has a very professional job, office environment and all of his colleagues are professional and "well-to-do" people. The problem is I am thinking of getting another tattoo (I have a butterfly on the inside of my right ankle) and it would be a small (1.5 inch by 1.5 inch checkered flag, I love NASCAR and it would be on the top of my right foot, very small. He said that if I get it, he would never talk to me again, date me, etc. He says it is very trashy, he doesn't mind the butterfly b/c I got it before I met him. I would like to get answers from people that are like him. I asked my friends and my friends say that is controlling and forget about him. What do you guys think!? I'm really trying to find some kind of reason for him to be saying this, cause other than that, everything is FINE. Ive started a campaign for heating allowances for disabled/ terminally ill people. It is to try and convince the Government to extend the winter fuel allowances that the elderly currently get to people with disabilities or illnesses.

So far I have paid for everything myself, and I am no longer working (since feb this year) due to Ill health. The website itself is cheap, but the stationary aspects of it is creeping up and I seriously need sponsorship or help with advertising or printing etc.

Several Charities are standing by my side, and I' m doing all this from home.
