"You are not your own. You were bought with a price....therefore glorify God...."
It all belongs to God.............However, I have been given the choice to follow Him or not......... That's it.
I am, however, responsible for the choices I make, for my kids, pets, etc. even what I do in my body.

You live in your body and control how you use it. You own your mind unless you alter it through surgery, either chemical or physical. Your soul and children belong to God. Your pets are only loaned to you. Your life is your own but only to a point. Eventually you must give it back. Your experiences, memories and thoughts are your own until Alzheimers sets in.

We come to this earth to gain a body. Our bodies will be resurrected as perfect bodies.
Whatever principle of intelligence we attain unto in this life, it will rise with us in the resurrection. And if a person gains more knowledge and intelligence in this life through his diligence and obedience than another, he will have so much the advantage in the world to come.
Our spirits are eternal, having existed before the foundations of the earth.
We may be sealed to our families for all eternity. Death cannot part us.
We may have our pets again.

Own, meaning to possess, yes I own most of the things you mentioned, on a temporary basis of course. But life also comprises of giving/sharing, and with that in mind I truly own nothing because I have already disposed of most of it.
There are a few things there, on your list, which we should not own because they are truly not ours to 'possess', children for example and even pets.
In some instances we are keepers/ guardians and have a responsibility far beyond ownership. In this regard I would include our 'planet' on the list.
You see, I have now even given away my 'thoughts'

In that all experience is subjective and personal and you said yes to it in some way, of course you own it. You own everything you experience. To change it, change the way you speak to yourself about it. Your perception and your experience will follow the linguistics of your self talk.

Yes and No. I am who I am, and I am responsible for me, and only me. The only thing I own is my spirit, and that's part of God.
I am God, as part of God is within me. I just need to get outta His way. No offense meant.
