You are grossly mistaken. Wicca teaches all spiritual paths lead to Deity. What you are proposing is a contest to see whose God is more powerful. We have no need to do that as we believe each God and Goddess is just as important as the other. Each religious belief as long as it does not hinder the rights of others is just as valid as the next. We do not believe in one universal truth, only personal truth.

The bible says the dead were raised and sick were healed, but so what? You can find legends in every belief system. Some Christians today believe these things are going on, but not one ioda of evidence exists, so even then it is just someones belief that cannot be proved. Why are you so angry?

Wiccans do not convert people we do not proselytize, that is not our way, that is a Christian thing.

Christian, in response, I ask THE SAME question in reverse, what is THE most powerful, Christianity or Nature?
How many of you are more powerful than a hurricane or tornado?
How many of these "miracles" have you witnessed? And is there any proof besides what a MAN has written in a book? And if this book is so perfect you must also believe there are unicorns!
And why are you calling Wiccans Atheist? Don't you even know the difference?
I have read the bible, how many books written by Wiccans about Wicca have you read?
I tried to use the same poor grammar, but it made me shudder!

As Labgrrl said, there's nothing requiring Wiccans to think that all goddesses are aspects of one big uber-goddess. Some Wiccans do believe that, but a great many do not. For some good arguments against the "all goddesses are one goddess" approach, you might be interested in Ellen Cannon Reed's "Heart of Wicca." Whether you view each of the deities as separate, or if you view them as aspects of a great uber God and Goddess, you should have reason to address whatever name you use. Even if "Nyx" is just an aspect, there's a reason why Nyx calls to you but, for example, Rhiannon does not. Be conscious of those reasons. Don't just grab random deities or aspects. And if it's Nyx alone that calls to you, answer to Nyx.

Actually, Wicca isn't like that. We don't feel the need to defend our faith with the words you are using. Do you really think your bullying question is worth response?

As a Wiccan, and as a person who has a degree in Christian Theology and in pastoral counseling from an accredited university (not some crazy "bible" school), I must tell you that you are asking for testimony that you are not worthy to receive.

Simply demanding proof does not make you worthy of answer.

Wicca is a very personal faith - it is different for each one of us. Since the Bible is a work of fiction, I don't believe it valid to compare my real and personal expereinces with it. I do not compare my real and personal expereinces with a cheap romance novel, another form of fiction, so why would I demean my faith by comparing it to your chosen work of fiction?

Your goal here is to discredit Wicca - so do what you need to do.

In Wicca, the one truth and our Rede is: Do What You Will But Harm None. This may be difficult for you to understand since you seem to think your faith is something you can bully and judge others by. You harm others. That is the basic truth.

To each and every person, their own. I am not here to judge your faith - but I will voice my opinion and thoughts when you ask such questions with the intent to harm.

Blessings of Briged, the Goddes of the Hearth, on your home.

Wicca is a religion created in the 1950's by Gerald Gardner, loosely based on pre-Christian European religions. It is in no way comparable with Christianity. It's a mystery religion, requiring initiation to be taught. It places the highest reverence on nature and on individual rights.

I've never heard of a Wiccan claiming to raise the dead, cure the blind or any of the things you are suggesting. It is a religion based on the natural, not the supernatural.

Have you seen any of these things; Raising of the dead, Blind to see, ears to hear, disease flee, sickness be gone?

Do you believe everything you read?

I have not been happier or stronger now that I am no longer Christian.

Prove to me that the things in the Bible really happened and I will give you my witness/story.

this question makes no sense.

first of all, raising someone from the dead is not a good thing, it's manipulating the natural order of things, which is very very bad.

and wiccans are smart enough to go to medicine for sickness and to accept that some things just happen.

Picking on the Wiccan now and not the atheist?

Considering you are so ignorant of our religion as to think we don't believe in a god (just not the violent and insensitive version you Christians worship) I really doubt that anything any of us can say would make any difference to you.

I'm sorry, I don't understand your question.

I've been a Wiccan for over 20 years, and I'm willing to answer, but I really can't parse your grammar.
