What ever is so wrong with the thought of having a 'soul'?

Does having one spoil the party?

Please say?

I read (well, started to read) "The Satanic Verses," and frankly, it just wasn't a very good book. I love Rushdie's other writing, personally, but regardless, he is a writer of fiction, of novels. He is not a political figure.

Why then, are Muslims overreacting so badly to his knighthood? Rushdie is British, lives in Britain, a non-Muslim country. Why can't they just live and let live? The reactions I keep seeing on EuroNews are from Pakistan and Pakistanis in Britain, for the most part (Rushdie is originally from India) - how is his knighthood any of their business (those who live in Pakistan in particular)?

It's sick! what you are willing to do just to rent a video and spread the word against families.

I know a lot of you Denmark types love to rent upwards to 10 adult movies at once. Then you buy a polaroid camera and take a series of still pictures from the videos. After collecting all of those sick pictures, 95 in all, you form a collage on your west wall. Then you paint over said collage with a light green paint! It's sick and I'm on to all of you with banana logic!

People get killed, bombs go off, flags and effigy gets burned, mayhem, looting, violence, etc.

I think we have a very clear picture of what this religion makes people into. Are you still in doubt?

I worked with a wonderful 40 something woman for two years and she really touched my heart. Long story short she was diagnosed with a brain tumour three months ago and just lost her fight aged 48. Now she was such a vibrant lady, she loved going out, zooming around in her car, shoes (the higher heels the better) and always wore the latest trend. Now what am I supposed to wear to her funeral? I want to wear big heeled shoes and white to celebrate the fact that she ever lived but will her family (including an 18 year old daughter) understand or will I unintentionally offend them? Is subdued and black best? (If it's of any relevance I am 23 and the funeral is in Oxford UK)

I live in a city, and normally I wouldn't have a problem with this, but some people ride their bikes on the sidewalks and don't ring a bell or let you you know they are coming up on you. Three times today I have turned around and a bike has whipped past me with no warning. If I turned the wrong way they would have run me over. Without resorting to violence, how do I let these bikers know this upsets me?

What are the areas that you have worked on, or need to work in for you to be delivered...?

I have renounced... Me and my mother's relationship, she was a hard- core discipliner, which with time hardened me and my sister's heart with each other, now that we are all older and Devoted followers of Christ... she is a chained woman but I need to work on allowing her to be sweet with me. Its been hard and awkward but God is in control!
How about you? what areas do you need deliverance in?

When God calls down the death Penalty on all false prophets (Deut. 18:20)..Would'n't it be prudent, even Godly for you to start looking into the acusations of false prophecy in your own organization?
No one is asking for you to look at any material but that printed by the WBTS.
Doesn't scripture Jer17:5 and others urge you to make sure that you are following in accurate faith..."keep testing as to the truth of your faith......"

Cause if it's true, then it would mean that Christians don't believe in evolution because it goes against God, not because there is any fault in evolution itself.

That's why so few people don't believe in either God or evolution.

Christians try to find little incongruities with evolution, like "If there is a watch there must be a watch maker" because they know that evolution reduces their God and Bible to nothing more than mythology!
