We do not have that knowledge. I do not think there is such a thing like "first" when you are the outside of the time.

Jehovah God created a spirit being like himself. At Colossians 1:15 "He is the image of the invisible God, the first-born of all creation." And at Revelation 3:14 "These are the things that the Amen says, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of all creation by God." So who is the Faithful and True Witness? Revelation 1:5 reads, and from Jesus Christ, "the Faithful Witness," "The firstborn from the dead," and "The Ruler of the kings of the earth." Yes, Jesus is God's first creation.

According to Genesis the first thing God did was send his spirit upon the waters. Literally in verse 2 the "might wind" sweeping over the waters is "ruah elohim," "wind of God" or "breath of God." The next thing he did was speak ... verse 3 ... "wa-yomer elohim yehi 'or," literally "and said God, let-there-be light."

As to before creation, we really don't know, except Christian revelation would say that the first and only thing that God does is love. God is love, and according to some theologians, God's being is a doing... so that everything God "does" is an expression of his being love - of his loving.

although its obvious that God existed before the creation of our earth and our time, the bible establishes the first thing that God did as far as the earth is concerned is created the heavens. However, since he exists outside of time and space, we cannot say he did a first thing because there is no first or last, beginning or end where he is.

Are you asking about the first thing he did concerning Earth? He created it. If you are asking the first thing he did ever then we don't know. God has always existed and he did so much stuff before Genesis.

As the Bible says "In the beginning, God created the Heaven and the earth...."

On thing He probably made before that was time it self. God lives in eternity but creation is not eternal.

Woke up, scratched his butt, and said "gee the weather is shocking today, how can I amuse myself, I know, I will invent the planet earth, people, sin etc etc"

God knows!

For those before me, what makes you think God is unique to us, surely he did not come into existence 20 seconds prior to creating earth, doh.

Why does humanity believe that we are privy to God, definitley a selfish point of view to think so, If he is the creator of all things, he has others to look after and other work to do.

He existed. No one knows. "In the Beginning, God created the heavens and the earth." That's the beginning of life as we know it, but God existed before that.
