Usually, when people get angry they change their looks and personality just instantly. The last time I got really mad, my co-worker told me that I looked like christopher lee on Dracula. He said my eyes were big and viscious, ready to suck the victims blood! Ha!! (Thanks for that comment, John)

Just for fun guys. Had anyone told you what you'd looked like when you're angry? Who do you look like then??

I stopped when I was very young. They made me bow my head a close my eyes while some babbling idiot went on about how we had all been sinning and needed forgiveness. I honestly didn't know what a sin was. Still don't really and don't give a damm.

People spend time in their lifetime preparing for all kinds of things, such as holidays, marriage, career, and retirement, and yet most people fail to prepare for the most important, and that is their eternal welfare. They do not listen to their inner conviction, but are swayed by hearsay from others.

Our lives are like a mist, the Bible says, here today, gone tomorrow, but eternity lasts forever, so it is of vital importance that people prepare for eterntiy.

Where will you spend eternity?

(Mat 28:20 DRB) Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you. And behold I am with you all days, even to the consummation of the world.

(Mat 7:24 DRB) Every one therefore that heareth these my words, and doth them, shall be likened to a wise man that built his house upon a rock,

(Mat 7:25 DRB) And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and they beat upon that house, and it fell not, for it was founded on a rock.

(Mat 7:26 DRB) And every one that heareth these my words and doth them not, shall be like a foolish man that built his house upon the sand,

(Mat 7:27 DRB) And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and they beat upon that house, and it fell, and great was the fall thereof.

(Mat 7:28 DRB) And it came to pass when Jesus had fully ended these words, the people were in admiration at his doctrine.

(Mat 7:29 DRB) For he was teaching them as one having power, and not as the scribes and Pharisees.

Poetry is dead and needs revival because the harmony of a sweet voice quickens the love and the sounds of love soothes and revives hope and consoles the heart.

I am a Christian, and I used to go to Sunday School when I was little and prayed a lot. I'm having a few probs in life at the moment and feel depressed, and so have turned back to God. Is it wrong of me to seek His help only when I feel lost? I don't know what to say to Him, or how to listen to Him. How do you know if He's talking to you?
Please help

You know they make new saints and change the rules all the time, but I haven't heard about any great new authors inspired by God having their latest books added to the Bible. Wouldn't that be better than trying to pass off those ancient stories, which are so foreign to us modern people, as poignant, when it's been shown that the older a book is, the less is has to do with anything, because people back then were just plain ignorant.

Hi,

I'm attending an Indian wedding in the very near future, but am stuck on what I should wear. The Indian wedding will be conducted accoring to a branch of Hindu, called Jain.

Firstly.. I'm caucasian English and have been specifically told by organisers that I'm not required to wear any Indian style clothing.

I was going to wear a stylish but not over-elaborate black dress but am now worried that black dress might be considered wrong or offensive at an Indian wedding.

Any helpful thoughts please ?

do you think it will shine or rain tomorrow ? will i win the lottery tomorrow or NOT!!!!! Will you live or die tomorrow or will there be yet another miracle ? are you gonna do what yaw wanna do or let somebody else make the rules about how you should live your life and how life should be OR MAKE YOUR OWN RULES IN YOUIR OWN LIFE OR NOT !!! ???You see, most adults explain away their perceived ‘failures’ or lack of success by saying things like, “This can’t be done”, “Be realistic”, “It wasn’t meant to be”, “I’m too old to do this”, “You gotta pay the bill`S ” When you give up on your dreams, you are killing off your soul! Most people are dead at 30,
buried at 70! Is that what you want for your life? What are your big dreams? Life is an unbelievably precious gift – please, please, please make the most of the short allotment of time you were given…here and now and tomorrow that affect the whole world ......think of that then tell me you are still superstitious and why.....

Not just occasionally, but every single week. Sometimes more. And the only other book they ever read was the Odyssey, which of course is bound together with the Iliad in one volume.

And every music cd they ever bought was based on the stories in those books, and every television show had to meet some criteria based on the interpretation of those books. And every meal was a blessing from characters in those books.

And they only liked other people who also based their entire lives on those books.

And they only voted for politicians who agreed with those books.

And they only married other 'true believers' who also shared this fascination with the books.

They even base their decisions about war and disease on....you guessed it.....Homer's Odyssey and The Iliad.

Would you think those people were more than a little nuts?

Especially if you found out that none of them were even Greek?

My friend on myspace posted this on myspace . . .

"One day a 6 year old was sitting in a classroom. The teacher was going to explain evolution to the children. The teacher asked a little boy:

TEACHER: Tommy do you see the tree outside?
TOMMY: Yes.
TEACHER: Tommy, do you see the grass outside?
TOMMY: Yes.
TEACHER: Go outside and look up and see if you can see the sky.
TOMMY: Okay. (He returned a few minutes later) Yes, I saw the sky.
TEACHER: Did you see God?
TOMMY: No.
TEACHER: That's my point. We can't see God because he isn't there. He just doesn't exist.

A little girl spoke up and wanted to ask the boy some questions.

The teacher agreed and the little girl asked the
boy:
LITTLE GIRL: Tommy, do you see the tree outside?
TOMMY: Yes
LITTLE GIRL: Tommy do you see the grass outside?
TOMMY: Yessssss!
LITTLE GIRL: Did you see the sky?
TOMMY: Yessssss!
LITTLE GIRL: Tommy, do you see the teacher?
TOMMY: Yes.
LITTLE GIRL: Do you see her brain?
TOMMY: No.
LITTLE GIRL: Then according to what we were taught today in school, she must not have one!

BURN!

This is a serious question and I'm not looking for anyone trying to 'save' me. But I really want to know... is there really a devil? Can you make a deal with him to sell your soul? How can one go about doing this? Are there limitations on what you can ask for?

I have no idea how to 'pray' let alone contact the devil. Is this just a bunch of hollywood myths and urban legends or can u really do this?

I'm totally serious and don't need stupid answers. If you really know, please post it here.
