This is a serious question and I'm not looking for anyone trying to 'save' me. But I really want to know... is there really a devil? Can you make a deal with him to sell your soul? How can one go about doing this? Are there limitations on what you can ask for?

I have no idea how to 'pray' let alone contact the devil. Is this just a bunch of hollywood myths and urban legends or can u really do this?

I'm totally serious and don't need stupid answers. If you really know, please post it here.

Well..If you've ever seen Bedazzled, maybe a movie quote will answer your question;

When Elliott is in jail (after selling his soul to the devil) his jail mate (God in disguise)
reminds him that he couldn't have really sold his soul, because it didn't belong to him in the first place...

However-- if this is something you are looking into, you can check out some pagan sites......I know one is spellsandmagick.com

Er..Be safe. Be smart.

"Selling your soul to the devil" is a metaphor. No, you don't make a deal with any physical presence. However you can sell yourself to somebody or "something" who/which you think might help you get ahead in life. If his intentions are to use you, you have sold yourself to the devil because his intentions are not to help you but to help himself at your expense. If his intentions were good, you would benefit along with him and the benefit would be equal. Bottom line: are you being creative with yourself and others you come in contact with, or are you being a destructive force to yourself and those around you? If you are being destructive, you've already made contact with the devil, but don't expect any money-back guarantee. Notice, I didn't say contract. It's never too late to back out of a bad situation and get positive. It's easy to blow up a building. Only takes a few seconds with explosives in the right places. But making that building may have taken years. Creation is hard. Destruction is easy.

Sure, I definitely believe you can. It may not happen in quite the same dramatic way as it happened in the movie 'Ghost Rider' but it's possible.

The thing with the Devil is .... he's the Devil and he doesn't really give a **** about you. If you saw 'Ghost Rider' you'll remember how the Devil kept the main character's dad alive in exchange for his soul - for ONE day. That's the Devil though. He's a con-artist and the rip-off master of the universe.

He'll give you a sexy looking deal and then when you pull the curtains away and see what you really got... you'll see that you got ripped off.

A lot of people have sold their souls to the Devil and may not even realize it. Some people sell their souls to the Devil over a successful career or their financial fortune. Stuff that is not going to matter when their life is over. Are these things wrong to have? No.... but it's all about a person's heart and how they choose to use these things that can make them wrong to have.

If you sell your soul to the Devil, you probably won't be sent to Hell tomorrow in a cloud of smoke. He'll give you his version of a 'good life' and in the end you'll realize that you sold out for far less then you should have, just like so many others have found out for themselves.

If you mean literally speaking with the Devil and giving your soul to him----you really should think about who you want to speak with and the ramifications of that contact---don't start something that you can't get out of easily-
You must understand something clearly, there has already been a "deal" made for you- a long time ago. he hates you for this - any contact would not be a good idea..... don't even dwell or seek this type of thing-
You can not give what you do not have to give. he knows this.......

they say every myth has some elements of truth and I would say the truth of the selling your soul to the devil (which he lies by the way)would be that you see no other way of getting what you want but to ignore all your wants and needs even if it is family or friends or just things until you have exactly what you want. But you could also sell your soul for any old thing but once it is sold it is not yours again until you pay all of the deeds back. Kinda like the end justifies the means this is a devils saying

1- I believe there's a devil
2- the devil has a shot at your soul every time you reject God's offer. you need not pray and no he doesn't have a number or e-mail

and selling your soul isn't all that great. as in, you yourself cannot get it back and of course, it cuts off your soul from God. you lose free will. that's really all it is

most people's souls already belong to the devil. But of course this is just analogy for not being in harmony with God's laws. If you are consumed with anger, envy, lust for wealth and other things, then you could be called the Devil's Own. Again, it's just high drama to say such things. If you get in touch with your soul and listen to it and listen to the divine laws of existence and follow what you hear, you'll be cool :-)

I haven't a clue how one would go about it...I guess just by doing everything in your power to get what you want out of life without any regard to what is right or decent or moral. You will probably be very successful and would have under those conditions I mentioned....lost your soul to Satan. There is an old saying: "If Satan can not discourage you through hardship, He will tempt you with riches."

your soul belongs to Satan unless youve given it to God so any deal from the devil wouldnt be offered unless your soul belonged to God in the first place and he`d probably only offer you somethin short lived (some type of sinful pleasure)so that you would be under his control, so in reality no, temptation it self could be looked at making a deal with the devil if you gave in though but its not really worth it

Yes, do the things that are not of God and you are doing things for the devil.

If you have faith in God and follow, then you are of God. The devil is there to tempt you and God is there to test you. If you follow his word, then you are saved but you will still have the devil tempting you.
