I'm pretty sure he's in the NT. i think he was a guy around Then he recevied the word from God in Jesus time, maybe during, around, or right after the crucifiction. He didn't believe in Jesus I think. I think he was a respectable person in the community. I think he ended up helping the Christians eventhough it cost him. Maybe something like freeing someine in jail or something, possibly one of the disciples

I have a spanish rough draft book due tomorrow. i 've done pretty good in the class but i still don't know spanish well enough to write a 40 sentence childrens book. it's my final so please help me of you can. Lea and My-Lin are 8 year girls.They are best friends.They live in hawaii. They love to dance.
PAGE 2
Lea and My-lin both dance hula. They attend the same hula school.They also love going to the beach. They are very good swimmers.
PAGE 3
Every year at the girls hula school they perform a special dance. The dance honors Kanaloa god of the ocean. Lea and My-lin practice the dance steps for hours each day. They are having a tough time learning the steos this year.
PAGE 4
The girls had a bad day at hula class. They go to the beach to relax. They build a sand castle.

the barns all over the place that were painted with ROCK CITY logos on them saying "See Rock City." But am I not remembering correctly, when I think of the billboards that were IVY GREEN in color that had white bold letters that said SEE ROCK CITY? or was it RUBY FALLS? Someone help me here.

I think even the most militant atheist would concede that churches and other religious bodies aren't all bad - some can and do perform a useful social function in a charitable role. However, religious belief is clearly dying out - churches are being turned into retirement homes and where they are still used, they are nearly empty. So, even though people don't believe any more, is it possible that the churches could morph into purely charitable organisations so that we retain some of the sense of community and common purpose that religions tend to be quite good at?

Which do you believe is the real factor in banishing the demon. Is it the crosses, scripture, and holy water? Or is it the willpower/heart/faith of the people involved?

In other words do you believe crosses, holy water and scripture are necessary for a succesful exorcism or that all you need is a strong spirit and proper training? Is faith in the Christian God nesecarry or will faith alone do (i.e. faith in yourself, in another divine entity.)? Only serious answers please. I am genuinly curious on how those who believe in demons or demon like spirits view exorcism.

sending a non-believer to hell? In heaven you are with God, serving Him, and in His presence continuosly for all eternity. Why would you want this? You spend your entire life wanting nothing to do with God, so guess what? He's doing you a favor by giving you an eternity without Him ie hell. So isn't he showing His loving nature by giving you exactly what you have always wanted, freedom from Him?

I heard about these people saying that the world was going to end on the 6th month 6th day and in the year 2006, because so people have said "666 is the devil's number." Anyways, I was freaked out...but it didn't happen. Would you have belived them? Would you say that they are crazy people? Or just people that like to scare people over something very serious?

Shows like "Dinosaur Park" and there was one where probes were sent to an alien world to document alien life. Other than a few blurbs at the beginning about "imagination," these are presented as if they are real.

Several kids in the neighborhood believe that dragons are real after watching a Dragons World mockumentary. One kid thinks we've sent probes to alien planets and found life there after watching Alien Planet. A bunch of them think there's a group of people getting dinosaurs from the past and making a park to go there.

I like watching some of them with my kid because there is some science involved and it is interesting, but I am bothered that the Discovery Channel presents this stuff as if it's real to an audience that doesn't necessarily know how to tell when a documentary is factual or fictional.

Any other thoughts?

I want to know the primary differences in beliefs that set evangelical christians apart other protestant groups. So far I haven't found any differences although I have to admit that I find the behavior of some of them to be a little strange if not outright frightening.

ok so i have an aunt and uncle [well she is my aunt cause she married my uncle, just wanted to be precise]. my uncle has been cheating for years with plenty of women, everyone knows it including his wife. ok so the other day everyone found out that the wife was cheating also and suddenly she is called a slut! dont get me wrong two wrongs dont make a right but why didnt he get called any names and she gets to be called a whore??? i asked my relatives that same question, and the only reply i got was the a woman is different from a man....what the hell is this world coming to???
