blood in Christ's hand, maybe. Power in the blood of the Lamb, yes. Blood represents life since it is life giving. Christ gave up His life so that we are redeemed through His blood and thus saved from our sins that have separated us from our God and His perfect ways. This is why murder is forbidden and so is drinking it, etc. Catholics however use bread and wine at the altar -symbolized Christ's flesh and blood as a way to convey their beliefs-something unnecessary.

As for wonder-working power, this comes on naturally to the ones who receive Christ as their Saviour. Won't you come to Him today? It's not about a religion or an occult, it's about having a personal relationship with the Lord your God. This is what defines a Christian, not professing that you are and following the world's doctrines. One simply must read the Bible to discover the truth firsthand, ask the Eternal for a clear understanding, confess by his/her mouth of Christ's wonder working power, receive Him and be saved. From there, you'll know what to do next since it will be revealed to you.

The song is "there is Power in the Blood" (of the Lamb). It says nothing about the blood being from Christ's hands, although I suppose it could be. Is there Power in it? Many religions feel that blood is power, it is your essence. So, in that case, there most certainly is power in the blood--Christ's, yours and mine. So, I would say "yes".

The power is in the blood of Christ, yes. Because he died for our sins and rose again.
