That sounds confusing. But what I mean is can I still be bi and not have sex at all with either sex? I want to go straight edge.

All right. I've been seing some weird (polite for stupid) questions on R & S. All day, I've been thinking, "are they off their meds?"

When I was 7 yrs old back in 1967, my aunt took my mom downtown to pay a bill. My cousins and I sat in the car, listening to the radio. A song came on, "Son of a preacher man". To my knowledge, there is nothing racially derrogatory about the lyrics of this song. But around the second chorus, some angry black woman of about 25 came to the car and stuck her head through the window and yelled, "Shut up, you little white b.itches!". None of us were over the age of 11. So...what we do to warrant that? Is there some hidden meaning in those lyrics that a white person wouldn't be aware of? To this day, I'll turn the radio off if I hear this song because it reminds me of this incident and pi.ss.es me off. So who was wrong? Us kids or the woman?

The idea that God is a made-up concept to soothe our fears makes no sense, since we reject the existence of other made-up figures that might also make us feel better. A comparison between the existence of God (a non-contingent being) and the existence of Santa Claus or invisible pink unicorns (contingent beings) fails on many levels, not the least of which is that their fundamental natures (non-physical vs. physical) are vastly different. The idea that there is no evidence to support the existence of God is clearly false. The evidence was clear enough for me to convert from agnosticism to deism in the absence of efforts by theists.Philosophical arguments like invisible pink unicorns are great ways to avoid examining evidence, but such an approach is ultimately dishonest.

I mean, if there weren’t any doubts, all the scientific facts that contradict their unproven beliefs would not even be acknowledged, right? True believers would not even have to attempt to refute any science because they are so certain about their beliefs. So come on guys; logic has entered your minds and though you try to push him away, he just wants to help you.

Why would someone possibly not want to be called, "muffin" in public?? "Pop Tart" I can understand, but, "muffin???" It's not like I'm calling her, "ho bag," or something. Don't get me wrong, I fully respect her wishes and never use this term of endearment when we are around others (aside from the occasional slip up), but I just don't understand why she has this attitude. She should be flattered! The worst thing is when I start to call her, "muffin," then realize it after I have already said, "muff," needless to say, I can't stop there, so I have to ad lib something, like, "Mufflers are so important, especially in a neighborhood setting." People are starting to think I'm crazy! Can someone please explain this to me?

Doctors agree that people are contacted by their dead relatives just before they pass on.
here is an example;
Father lies dying. The hospital is quiet. Visiting hours are over and the sun has long since set. Father has been sleeping off and on all day. His doctor says the end could come at any time. His wrinkled, sunken eyes open slowly. His breathing has been labored, but now it seems to ease and soften. His eyes track to a corner of the room where there is only a faded green vinyl chair. Father smiles.
"You're here," he whispers.

His daughter, determined to be with him in his final moments, takes his hand. "Yes, I'm here, dad," she says. But she knows he's not looking at her.

"No," father says, never taking his eyes off the corner of the room. "There. It's your uncle Jerome. I never thought I'd see him again."
The daughter glances to the corner, but of course sees nothing. Father seems coherent. In fact, she hasn't seen him so alert in days.
"Oh my!" Father's smile broadens. "And Lucille! And mother is with them! They- they say they have come to help me. They have come to take me with them. Can't you see them? They look so wonderful!"

The daughter wraps her father's hand in both of hers. She doesn't know what to think. Father closes his eyes again and the smile slowly fades from his lips. He releases one long, last breath... and is gone.

ME.. I... i kind of like to make music.
i like to express myself artistically.
to the world i am justin, but im truly sydney..
i want a sex change...
my parents are loving, and sweet....
they dont want me to cuss or any of that...
i want to go full out goth/punk girl and expression...
but i want to do it in a beautiful way..
and i want to do it in my music...
and i want to use bad words if it lets loose emotion..
cause either way i have a good heart saying it.
i have a sexual liking towards being submissive...

how do i start living how i want to live now...
without losing/upsetting or being looked down upon by my parents? how do i lose the fear?

Come on, be honest. Put it as a percentage; for example, 20% of the reason you believe is because of fear of hell and 75% because you want to go to heaven (5% margin for error).

Can someone please clarify the defintion of belief as used in the Bible... I always hear "believe in Him" etc etc... is there a place in the Bible where its used to declare that we should believe in God's existence... or is it always the other way to use the word... like "Do you believe in abortion"...
