why when jesus cured people did he say afterwords dont tell anyone about this like mark 1 'a man with leporosy' ''jeses said to him with a strong warning ''see that you tell no one of this'' why weren't they alowd to tell people that they were cured? he also said this to the dieing girl

mark 1 jesus drives out an evil spirit
jesus seems really angry all the time he shouts alot, why??

...other than to lessen the pain involved? Do you think that if Hell lasted only 1 year instead of forever that more people would end up there? Why does Hell need to be so unbelieveably bad? It could have been much less so and still achieve the desired results.

I want to do something special for me and my husband on valentines night this year. This will be our 16th year together. It has to be something we can both enjoy at home, I have 2 daughters who will be in bed hopefully asleep. So going out isnt an option as i have no one I can possible ask to babysit. I have a budget of £30 to spend on food flowers lighting ect. Any ideas please ?

Forcing shops etc. to restrict their opening hours on sunday is an insufferable restriction on trade. To many working people sunday is the only day of the week that they can get out together as a family. Why should these 'keep sunday special' religious nutters tell the rest of us how we should spend the day? Do they really expect people to waste their time attending church? A day's shopping is far more enjoyable! And why should Muslims - for whom sunday is NOT in the least bit 'special' - be expected to comply with this humbug? They don't demand that christians - or anyone else - must 'keep friday special' do they?

To me, from an outside perspective, I can't think of many examples in which an organized religion has really promoted women. Maybe Epsicopalians, because they support the ordination of women....

Just look at the Baptists, who have openly come out against having female preachers.

Look at the Muslim and Amish Communities where women have to wear veils.

Do you think the Dali Lama would ever be a woman? Even Scientology is focused around a guy. Muhammed, Jesus, and Moses were all men, no surprise there. Do you think an orgainzed religion would ever be focused around a woman?

So women, my question is this. Why do you put up with these stupid religions that seem to be so focused on keeping you one step behind men?

I support this motion that YES it can be done cos our parents have done it ,,,its the thruth and i believe that freedom of expressing ones own moods and emotions cannot be rugged down on when it requires ..and YES when i,m around with my girlfriend or ny fiancee or my wife and its been done without any force its totally legal and it should not be a taboo or a big deal that it should not ,,,,,because today,s world is moving so fast and its all too cool to be done ,,i Totally agree with this ..
