No, I don't believe in it. You either go to meet people or do volunteering work. Don't mix and match. That is my policy. If you mix, you are not there for real volunteering - u r showing off.

Yes. I met a lot of people and made some friends, but also did a lot of community service work along the way.

YEA, IT SOUNDS LIKE A GOOD IDEA...THERE IS NO HARM IN THAT. EVEN IF YOU JUST GO TO MEET SOMEONE....
