Cacher - Neither has a responsibility to prove the clear existence of God.

Those who believe in God, believe in God...for them God is as real as the sun, but no one has said, nor does the Bible demand, that they prove the existense of God to anyone. They believe on Faith...as they are supposed to.

Those who do not believe in God obviously would not care about proving his existence unless they desired to prove it to themselves, which of course, could never be done.

If God wants to be proven, I assume He will prove Himself.

No one can prove the existance of a god. But if we could, the burden of proof would be on the shoulders of the believer. Can't prove a negative.

Christians don't have to prove the existence of God. We only have to plant a seed. It's not our responsibility to PROVE anything. We merely have to spread the word of God. What people do with it after that is totally up to them. God gives us all free will to believe or not believe. Just as in life there are consequences to the choices we make but we are free to make the choice, nonetheless.

I'd argue for 3.) Neither.

I think proving the "clear existence of God" is similar in concept to disproving Wednesday.

I don't believe there *is* a way to absolutely prove or disprove that which requires faith beyond our senses.

You can't prove a supernatural entity. However, I've seen logical conclusions that a God as described in the bible cannot exist. As of yet, I've never read a method to conclude something supernatural (ie, existing outside of reality, outside of our comprehension, outside of rational thinking) logically as this goes against the definition itself.

Believers. Bertrand Russell used the comparison of a belief in a celestial teapot orbiting a distant planet to highlight the absurdity of religionists who claim the onus is on unbelievers. If belief in Christianity is valid without proof then so is belief in the teapot.

God proves His existence.

Each person needs to seek the truth for himself.

It is an individual matter. But I do know, that anyone who has a real desire to know if God is real, needs only to diligently seek Him, and I promise, He WILL reveal Himself. This is something that I chose to do about 10 years ago, and I was shocked, amazed, and humbled by what I experienced. Peace be with you, friend.

Neither, as an ardent believer in Christ it is not my job to prove Christ. I share who He is and what He has done, it is your choice to believe or not. Your choice of unbelief is simply that, a choice. You have the same amount of faith that I do, but you have invested it into something different..I do what I can to implore you to be reconciled to God, but He has not placed upon me the burden of proving Him to you. Most peoples rejection of God is not one of purely not believing in Him, but refusing to bow their knees to Him.

People who believe in God. It's our duty as His warriors on earth, who battle the fallen one, satan and his army. It's the ancient fight between good and evil. In God's army, our chief role is to fight by prayer and witnessing to non believers.
But never forget, the battle belongs to the Lord and He has already won it by sending Jesus Christ to die for our sins (if you accept Jesus as your Savior and Lord). That being said, we still need to battle for new soldiers of God's Army to join us in paradise. God, our Father, wants as many of His children in heaven with Him as possible before He unleashes the enemy,(satan and his fallen angels of heaven) on the wicked and evil people of the earth. For new soldiers of God's army to join in the fight, all you need to do is accept Jesus Christ as your savior, study His "guide book", and confess your sins. Do what the B.I.B.L.E., (Basic Information Before Leaving Earth) book says. Gather with other believers and learn from the elders of the church who are the captains, generals, etc. God is the commander in chief of course, but He's far better than any politician because He is the Creator of everything and our ever loving, ever forgiving Father. We are prayer warriors, so fight on your knees and know that victory will be ours!
