Probably it has to do with the proclamation "God Bless America".. All the countries who put god in front of them had been rewarded. So if America try to denounce this because of their progressive scientific movement they might start their decline. Didn't that proclamation work for USA so far?..

I don't believe that. God is amongst the poor. Jesus said the least among us are his people (I think in Isaiah and he wasn't in America when he said it). This world is not Heaven it is run by men. He answers prayers but I do not know which ones or why, no one does, it is his plan. I believe he loves the poor in Africa deeply just as much as Americans, we are equals in his eyes. The reason we are here and they are there is an accident of latitude and longitude. We should be grateful and humble for having so much and give to wonderful organizations like One.org whenever we can. He said "To whom much is given, much is expected." God will repay you tenfold for your generosity. I respect your right to your opinion but I hope you will be open to consider some other ideas about this statement.

Ask yourself, Which nation did Jesus Christ die for? Wouldn't that be the nation Almoghty God would favor? It wasn't America. The Bible says that people of all nations stand before him wearing white robes and recieve salvaton (Revalation 7:9,10). At John 3:16 the opportunity for salvation is open to everyone. Bottom line, God is not partial.

Not for long if we keep trying to get God out of everyplace and everything. We are blessed because this country was thankful to God. Not we can't even mention Him.

Yeah, think of how better off those thousands of children killed everyday in this country are than if they lived in a country He doesn't listen to as much.

Or, hey, how about how He blessed New Orleans?! That was great wasn't it?

Oh, hey, what about those thousand or so service men who've died in Iraq. Guess they prayed for that, huh?

Thats pretty ridiculous. I know someone who believes that if you don't go to his church - not his denomination, but HIS church, you are going to hell. That's about as ridiculous as your statement. God is not the God of Americans, but the God of all mankind.
