This is a little confusing and perhaps stupid. I know that the word "holiday" in England refers to what would be called a "vacation" in America. But what about days such as "Christmas" or "Easter"? Are those days called "holidays" in England as in general as they are in America or do they have a different name to refer to them?

Do you agree with this observation. It seems that more and more of the young folks in urban and suburban areas lack the social basics of saying thank you and your welcome. It makes the issue more apparent when you spend your money at their place of business and they don't even have the curtesy to say thank you.

i have been reading that some countries are making prostitution legal.because they said it protects women.but the thing is,women and men shouldn't be selling their bodies out on the street.not only does things like that break up families. but it not a nice site to see a man or woman hooking on the street.have people gone crazy!

Ignorance is the breeding ground of religion....organized religion is really not much different from organized crime....when one did not buy the insurance offered by organized crime, your shop would be blown up the next day.....organized religion is much more refined.....if you do not pay...there is "last judgement day".....and when you die and you find out that there is no God....you cannot come back a sue the church ......even then.....you have no case!!! Is it not a "voluntary" gift? Businesses "give" for tax purposses....What does any church do when nobody pays?...they go out of business......ever wondered what those hundreds of cardinals do at the Vatican together with the Pope?.....they are having a good time and living it up at your expense......like organized crime in the 30tish.....

The evolution theory basically states that the inhabitants of this earth from the time it began evolved and everything we see today is done so by evolution. Now that is great but the creationists theory basically states that we were created by a God and thats how everything has come to be. My theory is yes theres a God who created the very first organisms, etc. and then we evolved over time. Is that not a possible theory? If you can offer sites to argue the fact or defend the fact the there was a God who statred the creation but then over time he left it and we evolved on our own that would help alot. I answered a question from a girl who says people laugh at her big feet. I hear people call others fat, hairy, ugly in general. They make fun of other's hair, clothes, critisize their decorating, etc. They even say their kids are ugly. I know someone like this. Ever notice these people are usually full of faults themselves, emotional as well as physical? Even worse than those they critisize. Do you think they critisize others to divert attention away from their own faults and to make themselves feel better about their own defects, which are many?

I am just wondering if the path you follow has a prescribed method. Mine does not, but it doesn't feel right to "just not use it anymore." I would think some sort of ritual involving grounding, and burning the wood, is necessary? What do you think?

It seems i live in a country which criminals have more rights than the victim , families are falling apart with kids having kids. And a media which celebrates trash culture . And the governments answer is to spy on the law abiding citizens and tell judges to free peadophiles.
