Reminds me of the old joke. How can you tell when a politician is lying? His lips are moving.

There are some good ones out there, I'm sure. But they seem few and far between. Still, it's our job to put the best person in place using the only tool we have...our vote. The best we can do is vote in the best person then watch them like a hawk.

I think, first and foremost, we should be clear about what politics really is.

Politics is the process by which groups make decisions. Although the term is generally applied to behavior within governments, politics is observed in all human (and many non-human) group interactions, including corporate, academic, and religious institutions.

Dictionary says that Politics is "The art or science of government or governing, especially the governing of a political entity, such as a nation, and the administration and control of its internal and external affairs."

It is said that man is a social animal. It would not be wrong to call him a political animal too. We all do politics. Don't get me wrong. I mean in context of the above definition. We all manage the affairs at our homes, offices, schools, colleges, shops etc. We take a mutual decision as in the case of a democracy.

Politics is not bad. Its people who do it and give it a bad name. As is observed in Indian democracy, the beaureacrats and politicians are a spoilt lot who use politics to fuel their personal desires. This is a reason that we have all have started hating politics.

So, finally, to be specific to your answer - Politics is bad only when it has a negative effect on someone. Otherwise its just plain politics.

Just for gags "The word politics is derived from the word poly meaning many and ticks meaning blood sucking parasites"

I'm not so sure if it's dirty, but it is a game. There are many people, they all think and behave differently. There is no way to please everyone in this world. If you still want to get into the politics, you have to know that you won't be able to please everyone. You also have to put your preferences on the side, such as religious beliefs.

Well, the last 70 years of my country had been very difficult and against the people and God , but I still believe that there are honest politicians.

I don't understand why the politicians are fighting , because it looks no one is about to rule for the name of God, again, and defeat God's enemy among which we can count Darwin and Freud, and Jung , and Marx , and Nietzsche 's sciences ...

They dig up airborne dirt and dirt, rumors, and faux memories about your historic past, your household, something they could get their palms on to make you look as if a perverted previous piece of dirt.
