Do you even know any "religious" people? Of course we have fun.

Actually, some of us religious people went out and flamingoed a friends house the other night. Ya' know those tacky plastic pink flamingos that they took off the market? Well, we bought up 30-40 and when someone makes a small donation to Master's Commission (www.ESMCbilingual.com) they get to choose who's yard gets flamingoed. We go out in the middle of the night and put them all over the person's front yard, and then we remove them when that person makes a donation and decides who they want us to get next. We are expected by God to enjoy life--we just have to make sure it's not offensive to Him.

The Minister of a local church had a sign outside the church, which featured a statement of the week.
One week it was "God sees every thing you do." I pointed out to the minister that that seemed a little perverted, she cried laughing.
Another week the sign said "God wants all of you." I then pointed out to the minister that that would be difficult for those who chose to be cremated. She rolled over the hood of her car laughing.
The stuffy ones ruin their religion.

Seems like they do stay locked up lately doesn't it?
Depends on who you talk to sweetie. I have been all around the world. Skydiving...flying...parasailing...(not the kind hooked up to a boat)....spent summers breaking wild horses...ENJOYED the life my God has given me :)
And I'm not afraid to hang out with unbelievers. So many people of the christian faith stick with their own kind holed up in their perfect churches. Jesus didn't give that example he GOT OUT and hung out with ALL different people.
I think people need to share if asked of them, if not just worry about your OWN judgement. You're not God afterall....
Make friends. Show love. Stop going overboard with evangelizing!

One person's "fun" is another person's misery. I think almost everybody, no matter what their religious beliefs, has some activity they do that they consider "fun."
For example, I think yard work is the most boring waste of time on earth, but my father enjoys it.

Not me and my church and God.
We mosh for Jesus.
During worship we mosh and shout for joy for what he has done for us!
Yes, we have our quiet and prayer time alone with God.
I've had such a blast with my church and i wait all week for Wed and sundays to come around cuz i love it so much.
I am sorry if you've had a bad experience with churches before but don't give up on them.

I laugh and have fun all the time. Joy and laughter is a gift of the Oak King, Lord of the Waxing Year.
But then, we know when to laugh and when to worship. Constant worship would cause one to neglect, and be irresponsible in other areas of life. Excesses of anything is unhealthy.

No, it is not o.k. to make exciting of somebody for their ideals. by skill of doing that, you open up the widest accessible door for them to poke exciting at you-- because of the fact which you at the instant are not demonstrating integrity, or distinctive characteristic. a individual who believes in team spirit won't willfully deliver others down, yet will love and settle for them, that's composed of appreciate. a individual is easily entitled to dissent from yet another set of ideals, whether you need to be the enhanced individual and not overtly bash all of us. Be the substitute you opt to work out interior the international, you comprehend? together as some ideals, or people, might offend you, do no longer droop to their point to insult them returned. enable them to work out what an truly divine individual sounds like while they seem at you.

It depends on your idea of fun. Do we party? Yes, Do we get together and play games. Yes, like baseball, football, basketball, just because we put God in our lives, doesn't mean we become hermits. It's just that we forsake getting drunk, being immoral, lying, cheating others, being violent.
