We need to stop it before it starts. Soon the next generation will be leading us in politics, sports, entertainment,etc. Why can't we teach them to have morals so when they make choices they can make them for the better?

I know that the Bible says that "he that believes and is baptised shall be saved", but different churches do it different ways. Which way is best? Didn't everyone get baptized the same in the Bible or did they just do it however they wanted? I don't want to be baptized incorrectly. Whtich is correct and why do you think so?

I have been alone for about 4 years now and i am seriously giving up thinking i am going to find a man....i have not even dated in 4 years!!! It is not that i have not looked because i have but men do not ask me out! I am not ugly,in fact i have been told i am very pretty,but i am overweight.Could that be why i don;t get asked out?I see other overweight people everyday and they have someone.I am sad and lonely and getting depressed just thinking about it.Is it possible that God wants me to be alone and i may never find someone to share my life with?? A guy at work asked me "no me quieres???" I know he said "you do not want me??" right?? OR does it mean something else, I was confused, because I hear some people use "te quiero" as saying "I love you" so what did he mean in English?

Can someone please explain??

I'm not trying to disprove people that are saying things about Christians, and I actually agree with them about some. Instead, I just want feedback to what others think, and if I need to change my way or style any. I try to show love in every answer I write, just as John 15:12 states:
My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.

there are alot of black ppl at my school and they are all obnocious and loud and annoying!!! they are always shouting and why do black ppl always smell wierd?? they always shout to there friends saying "omg i havent seen you in like 5 minutes!!!!" they are always getting into trouble!!! i dont want to be racist i mean i have black friends, but why do some black people have to be so loud??? and why can black ppl call white ppl names but white ppl cant call black ppl names??? I hate that!!!!!

I'm an atheist. But when it comes to religion, I intend to teach my future children with an open mindset. I will read to them from the children's versions of Bible and Quran. Simply because I think some of the stories hold a good value for kids. I won't read them all of it, because some parts are too violent.

But I do wanna teach them about God, Allah and a few other religious subjects. Simply to give them the chance to choose whatever they want in life, with an open mind.

I was wondering if religious people do this too. Do Christians teach their children about Allah, or about the possibility that there might not be a God?

And fellow atheists? Do you teach your children about religions? Or you simply raise them without the knowledge of any higher power?

This question is directed at people who do not believe in god/s of any kind, but believers are also welcome to answer with their opnions.
Tell me, what is your view of Nature? Does Nature inspire you spiritually? How does it make you feel compared to how organized religion makes you feel? Do you think appreciation of Nature leads to a greater interest in science and learning? Do you think people who revere nature are more likely to open their mind to the discoveries of science (like evolutionary biology etc)?

You can answer some of these questions or all if you like, I am just curious because I hold Nature in very high regard... I am a spiritual agnostic and basically my spirituality is founded completely on Nature.
