I mean some things I can understand, there have been events that have led people to get a bad idea about it. But what about other religions? How come its so bad to be religious, when it should be the other way around? I mean I personally am not at all religious, because I don’t feel like I have the strength to, but I still got so offended when I read a lot of the questions. How can people be so childish and ignorant? The thing is though, that since there are so many people who say things like this, it makes me think that maybe I am the backwards one for wanting to be religious, or for simply getting offended. I just would like to understand from these people why they hate it so much.

the way it was pretty much described to me is: a young male dirtbag.

but in some ways i think it goes beyond that.

for instance...can a female be a chav?
and...is it a title that is exclusive only to the young? or is it mutli-generational?

To point out that stories like Adam & Eve or Noah's Ark or the Tower of Babel can't possibly be literal truth, they're clearly allegories and myths dreamed up to explain the (what was at the time) unexplainable. Every culture has them and people accept them for what they are, not try to force everybody to think they are real. It seems like only in America and Islamic countries do (some) people take any discussion of religion other than unqualified praise as an attack. Funny we have that in common...

My friend who's older and straight who's on my soccer team is really nice and handsome more like cute though too. Anyway he doesn't know about me cuz no one does I mean I diodn't say it to anyone that I'm kind of gay, but anyway one day he said like a joke when 2 girls asked us in a bar if we were gay and he just laughed and said hell no but "if we were my pal here (thats me) would be the only dude or guy who could F-- my a--. ! -(it has been found (by Jewish historians) that the number is not 666, but either 616 or 665!
2- Pope declared the Jews innocent from the blood of Jesus .
3-666 became considred code for NERO!

Could it be that the "Beast" has been finally able to fool everybody in the 20th century, made a flag of its ancient mark and transformed all the historical suspicion towards it into empathy?

I decided to become a Christian and devote myself to Jesus Christ and his teachings... and one night I was alone in my office and I started praying to Jesus to forgive me for everything I had ever done that was wrong, and to guide me and to protect me from any evil influences/beings that might be around me, etc. And I swear to you as I prayed I heard in my ear the most evil sounding voice whispering loudly something that I could not understand. It scared me so badly... but I just kept praying. I have never heard voices before or after this experience! So I know I'm not crazy. What do you think it was? It seemed very ANGRY when I was praying. It still scares me when I think of it.

I am bored at work and have been thinking about this:
Over here in Germany you can buy a cheeseburger at McDonalds for 1€. The last time I was in the UK it was a cheeseburger for a pound. That means you in the UK are being ripped off cos 1€ is the equivalent of about 67p.
